"Over that past 2 summers, our A/C unit has decided that Sunday evening in the middle of August is the perfect time to stop working. Last year we called Comstock and they had someone there in a relatively short amount of time. Repair was complete and house was back to being cool. This year when it decided to stop cooling on a Sunday again, we call on Comstock to come out. The repairman had a few calls before us but came out before we died of heat exhaustion. The price for a Sunday evening call is obviously higher that during the week but it was not outrageous. Unfortunately the problem returned on Monday evening. We called again and the same repairman was over to have another look within 30 minutes. The problem ended up being simple and he did the repair and didn't charge us anything extra. I will continue to use Comstock for my central air maintenance and any repairs.

"Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."
