He cut the root away from the line and turned out water off to save us water and money. All done professionally and cordially. Cons: He arrived very late in the afternoon and didn’t have the right size pipe (1 in diameter) to make the repair so I had to have another repairman come out the next day and finish the job."

"I have been a satisfied customer of Moncrief for 20+ years and have an annual service contract. <br /> I called Moncrief to check on a zoned unit that was not blowing cool air.  When the tech arrived, he checked all of my units and found that not one, but two units were iced up.  The units had to be turned off so the ice could thaw before they could be checked.  The tech told me there was nothing he could do until the next day.  <br /> Moncrief arrived the next day to service the two units that were not cooling.  Found units leaking freon, charged them both for about $230. "Robert was on time, very professional, provided clear communication and was very service-oriented. He was hindered from camera location finding equipment that didn&apos;t seem to work and a 100-ft camera cord that didn&apos;t extend to the street, so we never confirmed if there was a problem or not. As such, the only way they would guarantee the work performed today, was if I purchased one of their tiered repair packages for $3,000 - $10,000 additional and definite excavation work to add a new blowout pipe.
