Gary was thorough in his approach to examining your previous system. After measuring the outflow and intake from our upstairs unit, Gary advised us that there was not sufficient intake and outflow. This required installing a new intake and replacing a considerable amount of ducting. It also required relocating the attic unit to be closer to the areas to be cooled/heated.

In reviewing the proposals, Gary reviewed each in detail and discussed the pros and cons of each unit. We elected to install the top line product from Lennox.

On the assigned morning Gary and his crew of 4 showed up on time and commenced work immediately.  The crew was dedicated, friendly and focused. The work performed in the attic was top quality. Gary, the owner was on site for the installation 95% of the time.  When completed, the crew thoroughly cleaned up inside and outside.

I would recommend Gary and Climate Magic without hesitation. We garnered three bids for this work and we decided to go with Climate Magic because of the owners involvement and Angieslist recommendations.

"The installation went well. Justin from sales is awesome and took all the inputs and scheduled the installation appropriately. The installation team Doug and JD are excellent. They worked very hard in the hot sun and installed very patiently. Very cooperative, cleared all the questions we have. We had an issue with the drainage of the purifier as it occupied our washer and dryer which prevented our washing machine installation and Costco denied the installation. "I will not be using Tasco again for my air conditioning needs. I recently agreed to have them replace a faulty expansion valve in my relatively new system, which they had installed. The expansion valve was free (a warrantied product). They used 2 lbs. of freon. They also installed a $38 dollar dryer. The two technicians spent a total of 1 hour and 13 minutes to complete the work. The estimate to complete the work was $1200.00. You would think that this company would cut me a better deal for warranty work. Upon completion of the work, I requested an itemized bill. Later that day, the owner stated they do not give out itemized bills and that he charges a flat rate for his services. After arguing wth him for a short time he stated that because I agreed to his estimate there was nothing to argue about. If you charge a flat rate why would there be an estimate? When I started using Tasco, they had an A rating- it is now down to a B. Do yourself a favor and go with a better company that is cheaper. Make sure you get an itemized bill. You can look up the cost of every part online. I never minded paying a premium for good service, but this is ridiculous."

"When we came back from a trip, one of our two Carrier heat pumps was not cooling.  Justin diagnosed the problem and repaired it.  He gave us a discount because we are Angie's List members.  He noted that the same problem could arise in the other heat pump.  A few days later, the same heat pump was not working.  Justin came back and found a capacitor had gone out.  He charged us just for the capacitor and nothing for the labor.  Again, we received the Angie's List discount.  Two weeks later, we had a complete "tune-up" on both of our heating and cooling units.  Ernest applied the same preventative measures on our second heat pump as Justin had done on the first one, so there would be little or no chance of a leak in the refrigerant line.  There was no cost for the tune-up, as we had already paid for the annual inspection.
