"I contacted Bluestar Air Mechanical for a second opinion after an appointment with Air One. I have a Carrier HVAC system, and the Air One technician recommended a complete system replacement, claiming the blower was bad, the furnace control board needed replacing, and that there were other issues. Since replacing the HVAC is a big investment, I wanted to get a second opinion. It was only after comparing the service from Bluestar that I realized Air One may have been pushing for a new system sale or lacked the expertise to properly diagnose and repair the actual problems. Isaac, the technician from Bluestar, spent about an hour thoroughly diagnosing and fixing the issues. He found burnt wiring in the furnace and discovered that the wrong capacitor had been incorrectly installed in the AC. Isaac replaced the burnt wiring in the furnace and the capacitor in the AC. After these repairs, my Carrier system was back up and running—without the need for a costly replacement. Bluestar, and Isaac in particular, demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and honesty. They focused on resolving the actual issues instead of pushing for an unnecessary system replacement. I highly recommend Bluestar for their reliable service and Isaac’s thorough and knowledgeable work."

"The team arrived with A/C units that were the wrong size. To their credit, they were able to locate the right sized units and have them delivered to the house. I did have to re-sign quote paperwork though and I ended up having to pay more than what was originally quoted even though it wasn't my fault that wrong sized systems showed up. It wasn't alot more, but still. The install crew worked really hard and got the systems installed that same day and it is working much better than the old system which was on its last legs. However, I had asked them if they checked the airflow in each room and was told that the airflow in each room was good. I had also told the crew about a broken ceiling vent in my son's room and was told it would be looked at and fixed. After the crew left and the A/C came on, I went room to room to check the airflow coming from the vents and that's when I discovered that there is very little air coming from the vent in my uppermost bedroom and in both vents in the living room. I contacted my point of contact (POC) at McCrea about this situation and he told me that we are waiting on a response from the installation manager - that was 3 days ago. Also, I was told that the financing paperwork that the crew gave me to sign was all that I needed to do and McCrea would take care of the rest. However, the day after the install, I was contacted and told that I needed to go to their website and fill out a form for financing. When I told the POC about it he was like, "Yeah, go to the website and fill out the form". No apologies for the miscommunication or anything. The positive is that the installation crew was professional and worked really hard to get both systems installed in a shortened time frame due to the snafu with having wrong sized equipment. Negatives - (1) The miscommunication about the financing paperwork (2) The installation crew showing up with the wrong sized units (not their fault) (3) The vent still broken in the one room and (4) Insufficient airflow in some rooms. (5) Having to pay more for a mistake that McCrea made. Still waiting on an answer from McCrea as to if they are going to fix any of these issues. I'm happy to update this review if McCrea resolves outstanding issues satisfactorily."

He put on she covers to protect my wood floors, worked very neatly and gave us some tips about ongoing maintenance. He did a perfect job. "JDL HVAC Services was the contractor provided by our home warranty company to repair our heating system. The were initially prompt and came out to the house and attempted to diagnose the problem. The technician though the problem was the circuit board and JDL delivered a replacement from Carrier the same day. Unfortunately, the part did not fix the problem and the technician thought the replacement part was defective. Unfortunately, it was Friday and Carrier wasn't open on the weekend. I specifically asked the technician what would happen on Monday and was told that JDL would get a new part Monday morning and then come to the house immediately to install it. This was very important since we had no heat on Friday and over the weekend and the temperature dropped below 20 degrees at night. Monday was a disaster. Unknown by us, JDL called at 7:30 a.m. and when we didn't answer, they removed us from their schedule. At 8:30, we realized they'd called, and contacted Joe and he added us back to the schedule, but in the afternoon. When a new (more experienced) technician showed up, he did NOT bring any replacement parts. When I called Joe to inquiry why the technician had no parts with him as promised Friday, he said he wouldn't buy another part because he couldn't get a refund on the first replacement circuit board. He also wasn't convinced the heater circuit board was the problem and wanted to do more diagnostics. I also asked Joe why they didn't come out in the morning as originally promised, and he had the audacity to blame us for not answering his phone call which we had no idea to expect. He also blamed his technician for providing us incorrect information. He did put another employee on standby to get parts from Carrier once the new diagnosis was complete. The new technician found another part that had failed and it was delivered with the original replacement circuit board. Both replacement parts were installed. While the technicians were friendly and informative, Joe was rude and lacked friendly or acceptable customer service skills/friendly. He also does not keep his technicians informed (the new technicians couldn't answer any of my questions) and it did not appear the technicians speak to each other when they transfer a repair. Overall this was not a positive experience due to the poor customer service from Joe. He did call an apologize (left a voicemail) after the repair was complete."

"Excellent!!! They made the appointment right away, came out and it need replace. A soon a they got approve, they installed within two days after approval. They send a text with a picture on who is the tech. With a paragraph about them."

"I hired JC Flood to fix my hot water heater. They popped over for a quick appointment and our hot water heater worked for a few days before dying again. JC Flood explained the hot water needed to be replaced. They were excellent about including proposals for replacement units. Very much appreciated!"

"To whom it may concern,      I wanted to say how much I appreciate Davy and Seth coming out to inspect my furance. They were able to tell me exactly what is wrong with the system. How it was originally installed wrong, showed me the mold that is growing inside of the system. They removed a return vent jerry rigged filter that I did not know existed. They were extremely helpful and made sure that I understood all the problems that are wrong with the system. When i asked them if they could spray down with lysol before entering the home due to my grandfather's health issues they did it with out making a fuss, and did so everytime they reentered the house. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable."
