He also put in a new shower valve and fixtures, tub drain, sink faucet, and toilet. It was a big job and he did it effortlessly and I couldn’t believe he was at our house in less than 24 hours of calling him. His work was impeccable, he has fair pricing, he was clean and a pleasure to have in our home. He was also a wonderful mentor to his apprentice who he walked him through everything they were doing. "I had a great experience with this plumber! He arrived right on time and was very professional and friendly from the start. I had a leak in the plumbing in the wall between the bathroom and the bedroom and he took the time to explain exactly was going on. He even went under the house (in the cold and dark) to inspect the issue further and took pictures so I could clearly see the problem myself. He explained the repair in a way that was easy to understand and fixed the leak quickly ad professionally. I really appreciated his honestly, communication and the quality of his work. "When they called (after I assume HomeAdvisor contacted them), I was told it would cost $89 to come out to give me an estimate. I had no problem with that but tried to get some rough estimate on how much a straightforward replacement of faucet would cost - but no estimate. When the plumber arrived, he first tried to get me to join some membership in order to get some percentage reduction in the cost (but I still had no idea of that cost). Bottom line was that the cost was over $600 for one hour of work. I will add that the plumber did an excellent job so I have no issues with their work. It is more about how they charge for their work. Next time, I will either find someone that is willing to charge by the hour or is willing to provide free estimates."
