"I went with this company because of all the 5 star ratings. I wish I had the pleasure to experience a 5 star service. Unfortunately, I did not. I first have to say that overall the installation of my doors were good. However, in order for me to give 5 stars, the following has to ensue. Professionalism, Punctuality and attention to detail. The head installer Jacob, first arrived with a nasty disposition and when the project started, he had the audacity to have a full blown loud argument with his co-worker in my house, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. Secondly, they were to arrive between 8am & 9am, I get it if one is running late because of traffic or other unforeseen circumstance. They arrived after 9am and a courtesy call would of been nice. Once the project was done, there was no initial walk through with the head installer. Because I already felt a bit intimidated by the earlier ordeal between jacob and his co-worker, I did not ask Jacob for a walk though nor did he offer one. I took it upon myself to do a quick inspection. Everything at face value seemed to look ok. So the next morning once everything settled, I did a more thorough and lengthy inspection. I discovered issues that in hindsight I wish I could of addressed the day of the project. Please see attached photos for what I found. Although these issues I found are minor, I have to say that for almost $10,000, I expected a perfect job to be performed from start to finish. The pictures below are a result of someone not paying attention to detail."

"We highly recommend JA Drywall. They are the best contractors we have used in the South Jersey area! We used them for a large job to frame, drywall, spackle and trim the attic plus fit doors for storage spaces. They were response to our request for a quote, provided a clear break-down so we had full transparency of the costs and could select the amount of work we wanted to do at this time. Juan and Isaias were very friendly but professional. Isaias was onsite through the framing, drywall, trim work and door installation. Juan checked in with us regularly and visited to check the progress and quality of the work. They communicated really well - from arranging arrival times in the morning, and during the work to inform us about the progress of the project and to ask if any adjustments were required. They are extremely customer focussed and wanted to ensure we were happy at every stage of the work. They took a lot of care and went above and beyond to protect the wood floors and walls from damage when they had to bring the drywall through the house to the attic. During the job they were very tidy and cleaned up before they left every evening. "From concept to installation, the process was amazing. Jeff and his team are highly professional and skilled. The measurements were perfect, the selection of products was excellent, and the quality of the installation was top notch. The installers were perfectionists and I couldn't be happier. I am a designer and quality finish carpentry is paramount to the success of any project. They have a beautiful showroom in Malvern that you can visit. I also ordered a custom vanity for my powder room and they have all the stylish finishes. I will definitely use Jeff and his team again personally and would trust them with my clients. I highly recommend Kitchen Tune-Up Main Line PA!"

"When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."

However I found a cheaper deal with NO contract after their system was already installed.

Once determinations and price were agreed upon the work went on schedule and the property was left clean.

"Mark's team was very thorough and helpful. They diagnosed what was wrong with our house (previous renovations that had damaged and overburdened the structure), came up with a plan to fix it, and did so in a very timely manner. I then brought them back to repair my alleyway where rain had eroded the concrete and was leaking into my basement. Again, they did excellent and timely work, leaving everything better than when they found it. I can't recommend Mark enough, and will certainly use him again for future repair and renovation projects."
