"Recently I saw a crew from Cambridge Doors and Windows installing new windows on a home in my neighborhood. The new windows were great and the installation perfect. I had been thinking of replacing my old front door, so I visited the Cambridge showroom to check their products. Diana showed me around the showroom and discussed general pricing and styles that were popular. She gave me some catalogues to review and in a few days, I called Diana back to tell her what my choice would be and asked for a quote. She sent me a preliminary quote and scheduled a visit from Mike who would discuss the choice of door and hardware in more detail. Mike visited two days later and took measurements, discussed the door and hardware and other matters such as delivery time. He was expert in his advice, listened to my questions and overall had a friendly and professional manner. I signed a contract that very day. About a month later Mike alerted me to the delivery date and I was amazed at how beautiful the new door was and how expertly and professionally the installation was done. This new door is a wonderful addition to my house and enhances its value immensely. Thank you to the entire Cambridge team."

Taking the front doors off and restoring them in a shop is the only way to do this! They color choice was beautiful. The project was completed on time as promised. "Painter stopped paint about 1" above carpet on all baseboards. Had to go around and correct. Accent wall next to wall painted white had to go and adjust painting to have even lines. Several spots of paint on carpet that had to clean up; paint on door knobs which I cleaned up. Requested ceiling to be retextured where it was peeling up, instead contractor scraped the ceiling and painted it. There are areas that are still needing address on ceiling which I will correct. I failed to remove the blinds in a window contractor removed blind and layed on floor and they were stepped on. Ended up with a slat being broken. Office personnel did call and request I make sure I was happy before staff departed."

"I purchased the big deal fromAngie's List to get 5 windows installed in our upstairs to reduce noise and the draft we were receiving with our old windows. Bob Camp was very prompt to respond to the email sent by Angie's List after the big deal was purchased. The next week Bob came out to measure and scope out the project. He asked why I only wanted to replace 5 windows when all of our windows were just as old as those 5. I told him it was a matter of cost. Other bids I received for windows were super expensive. Bob asked if he could go ahead and bid out doing all the windows. I told him to go for it. He came back, and to my surprise, made it very affordable to replace all the windows. We accepted his bid and told him to order all 14 windows vs. just the 5. About 3 weeks later they came out to do the install. Bob was very easy to work with on setting up the time. They initially started our install on a SATURDAY! I was shocked they were willing to work on the weekend. Lalo, his lead installer, seemed like a sharp guy. He took his shoes off upon entering the house and informed me prior to the start of installation what furniture they needed to move. Due to the age of our windows and settlement of the house through the years, it seemed like the removal our windows took longer than the normal house.  They did have to come back out on the following Monday to complete the install.  They were right on time at 8 am and finished before lunch.  I felt like at the end of the install they were in a hurry to leave even though there were a few issues I saw. Bob came out and looked and agreed with the things I saw. They did come back out a couple weeks later to repair, which, I felt was fine. This gave the caulk plenty of time to contract some with the colder weather we've had. I now feel like the install is complete and I'm pleased with the end result. The only thing that I was only slightly disappointed with was they did leave quite a mess outside and cleaned up very sparsely inside the house. I didn't feel like it took away from the work they did, but we did have some clean up afterwards. I thought Bob worked hard to get the business and was there to make sure he was able to get more business in the future. We would use them again, and I have already recommended him to a couple other potential customers.
