Other heating/AC companies we've worked with before are always trying to sell service contracts and upsell you on other features that aren't needed. The representative clearly explained what the cause was, which matched what I had suspected it was based on some internet research, and was able to answer follow-up questions. Our unit is quite old, though this was the first repair we have had. He let me know that we'll need to replace it before too long given the age, but did not pressure us to buy anything. And, the AC works just fine now.
