"This was a multi-part job that took the crew approximately one week to complete.  Sean Harrington was great to work with, he always answered my emails or returned calls promptly.  The work crew was very professional; they did good work and took care to clean up well when they were finished.  The bricks on my house have an unusual and unique texturing so it was not possible to find an exact match but after extensive searching they were able to find a very close match (color/size match exactly but without the same texturing).  They mixed some of the original undamaged bricks back into the chimney when they rebuilt it making it blend in with the rest of the house, the result looks excellent.  The trench drain they installed in my driveway also looks and functions great and has kept my garage dry.  Part of the original drain install was not as I had expected but Sean worked with me to get it to meet my full expectations, he is committed to having completely satisfied customers and doing the job right.  I would definitely work with them again.

"Lee is the best, hands down.  I own a rental property in Ferndale and the city requires an inspection of the fireplace every two years.  Lee is the only person I have ever used and he is always on time, super friendly, always does  a great job cleaning the fireplace and then cleaning up.  I've also used him for the random one off repair like patching broken concrete steps and also patching around the foundation of my brick house.

Brick Preservation came highly recommended from a close family friend. They exceeded all expectations from the initial phone call to the completion of the work. 1 month after the job was completed I even received a follow up call to ensure that I was satisfied with the job.

The work crew was led by James himself. It was completed 2 days prior to his original estimate and the cost was just under the original quote.

The new mortar color and texture was a perfect match to the original from 1957. He was even able to reuse some of the original brick and match the replacement brick perfectly.

The work was performed safely and the crew was very professional at all times while they were at my home. The work area was kept neat while the work was performed and was spotless when he finished. (This was important to me because I have 3 young children and a large dog)

"After looking at our two repair jobs, Nosh explained in detail the work he proposed to do and the cost for each.  He discussed the options with us for fixing the front porch brick, and we agreed with his recommendation to replace all of the bricks rather than a piecemeal brick by brick replacement (about half of the bricks were bad).  Nosh impressed us with his knowledge and professional manner, so we decided to have him do the work. 
Nosh started in immediately, going to three different brick sources until he found bricks that would be a close match to the bricks on our house.  He started work on the porch promptly the next morning, arriving early in the morning and working until late afternoon when it started to rain.  He returned early again the next day and finished the chimney late that afternoon.  When working on the chimney, he had planned to replace 5 or 6 courses of bricks on the chimney, but found he had to go down about 9 courses instead (he had to buy additional bricks to complete the job).  He did not charge for the extra bricks or additional labor.  He also discovered a cracked section of flue, which he replaced for only the wholesale cost of the flue liner.  He also replaced one brick on the front of the house that had cracked, and again didn't charge for the extra work.
We are very pleased with the final result.  Nosh did excellent work, and clearly takes great pride in doing a quality job.  He goes the extra mile to make sure everything is right, and when he finds additional unforeseen issues, he corrects them to make it right (the cracked flue liner is a great example).  He leveled a section of concrete sidewalk in front of the porch, and reset and secured the concrete step up to the porch at no extra charge.  He took the time to find the right bricks to match the bricks from 2 decades ago used on our brick house - you'd never notice the bricks had been replaced.  Plus he's a fun guy to talk to.
