"Wilmer was absolutely stellar in his project to replace my old oil boiler with a a gas one. I shopped around heavily and Wilmer provided me the best quote and walked me through my setup to help me understand it before I ever committed to giving him the job. He was incredibly friendly, honest and knowledgeable. He provided communication throughout the project and was quick to get back to me on any questions I had. The work got done in 3 days as he promised. His team showed up on time, worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. The quality of the work is top notch. I am a very happy customer and would absolutely love to do business with WR again."

"Great work and easy to schedule a time to get the charger installed. Since we had to route the power to the charger through a finished basement, it was perhaps more complicated than a standard install. Juan and team easily tackled the job and patched up when they were done. The smart Wallbox charger supplied by Juan is great and easy to pair/configure. We will definitely work with Juan again for other electrical projects around the house."

"Carmen and his team are top notch. I had received a few estimates and he was by far the most reasonable and prompt. It was nice hiring someone I felt I could trust. I have called him back again for another project. His workers are very respectful and they get the job done in a very timely fashion. I would absolutely recommend Carmen Colella Electric."

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesBoston Electricians are rated 4.5 out of 5 based on 352 reviews of 352 pros.
