"Justin and Cam, the technicians, did a great job. We have an old farmhouse with a very strange configuration of partial crawlspace and partial full basement, and water was leaking through the fieldstone foundation wall from the crawlspace. They quickly diagnosed that the problem was coming from 1 or 2 zones of the hot water radiator heating system, and they were able to shut off those zones to stop the leak, while allowing the house to still use water for sinks, toilets, and showers. We'll have to do more work later to replace pipes to the radiator but, because they are hard to access, we need to plan ahead for some construction work. I'm fully satisfied that these guys were able to find the problem and give us even a temporary solution that allows us to have our working plumbing again without the basement getting wet. Would definitely work with them again."

"Have used Boston Standard for two jobs. They have great customer service. 1) purchased their AC Tuneup special on Angie's list. Was able to get a tech to come out the following week. I have a tricky unit, it's up in the attic in a small crawl space with a lot of flexible ducts. Their tech climbed up there to service the unit and moved some of the ducts to increase air flow. They even cleared away some of the vines and leaves that had become trapped around the compressor outside. When they were finished the tech explained everything to me including the age of our system and related problems. When I mentioned we had some plumbing work as well, she took pics of the work and got us estimates. 2) Plumbing work: Hot water heater was leaking (faulty temp and pressure release valve) and called in some emergency work on a Sunday evening. The tech was there in an hour and promptly fixed the issue. I definitely recommend them. They do cost more than some other places, but having used them now I don't think I'd hire anyone else. High marks for their professionalism and customer service."

This is the first time I called them and Brian called me back immediately and was out at my house within 30 minutes to stop the leak. It ended up being my expansion tank that had corroded and sprung a leak. Brian was able to use a temporary tank to get me through the night with heat and hot water until the next day when he returned with a new tank. Brian was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend him to others and I will be using him again myself."

"When I called the company, Van answered and was actually concerned for me since it was our shower that was blocked. He came within an hour and tried to see if the snake would unclog the drain and it somewhat did but Van took the time (hours) to fix it correctly. The original plumber put the connector in wrong where the pipe was collecting over the years slowly in sink pipe on first floor. Van opened up the sink pipe and showed me what was happening.. I appreciated this since usually past plumbers didn't care to show us what was going on. Since taking the pipe was a messy job where other plumbers would have left sewage for me to clean, Van didn't. Van cleaned the floor for me! Excellent service. I highly recommend him!"
