"Mr. Doug of Perrell Flooring Installation performed the work. What I valued most is the fact I was able to get an estimate with in a day of calling, he showed up on time to start work and was able to start right away and complete the job in 2 days. When an unforeseen issue came up with one of the cut off valves he was able to handle."

"Our dog damaged some berber carpet in a house we were renting.  They were able to remove the damaged piece and replace it with left over carpet we had.  They did a great job and you couldn't see the repair. "

"Michael Nelson and his assistant Josh did a fantastic and highly professional job with our entire Great Room ceramic tile installation. Michael’s skill and experience promoted beautiful transition ideas and results while mating the new flooring to the surrounding surfaces, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. He also did a stellar job in cutting and installing travertine stone to our newly designed fireplace, and readily worked with me to accommodate a tricky hidden electrical outlet. Their final clean up was also excellent. Both Gentlemen were always prompt, courteous, and professional, as well as friendly. We definitely will seek their services for any future plans."

"The job went perfectly, on schedule and the finished floor is exactly the look we were going for. This was the first of several rooms that we are putting new floors in and were lucky to connect with G's right at the start. When the time comes for the next floor, we know who we are calling!"

"We've used Jaime about 10 times. . . . .we don't feel there is anyone else worth calling in the area, can do it all. Ran new electrical box to wall and installed electric fireplace in our finished basement side. Jaime had to get creative as the wall was discovered to be solid and not regular drywall. But he does it like it's nothing. Thanks again."

FAQs for flooring install, repair, or refinish projects in Brecksville, OH

Removing tile flooring is a messy job. Expect flying chip fragments, mortar dust, and plenty of debris. Protect the space with plastic sheeting and drop cloths, and gear up with goggles and a respirator before you start prying. Pros keep the mess in check by attaching industrial vacuums to their tools, a setup that captures dust at the source and leaves the work zone far cleaner than a DIY approach.

Removing the old tile first is almost always the smarter play. If you tile over worn or uneven flooring, the new surface can crack, pop, or sit higher than the surrounding rooms. Fixing that later costs far more, especially if you need to re-level the floor. By demoing the tile now, you get a flat, solid subfloor and avoid surprise repairs down the road.
