We had a jammed lock on an exterior door and needed a locking knob on an interior door. I called on Thursday, needing the work done on Monday. I left a voicemail message, and the callback came in minutes. On Monday morning, the work was done and I had an emailed receipt. As a plus, both locks were keyed the same! "The job is about replacing 6 old windows with Harvey vinyl and two interior doors. David is very responsive. He gave me a quote immediately. The whole process is actually quite smooth. They arrive on time, clean and vacuum all the wastes. I can feel they are very professional. They finish all the work in one morning including caulking which is amazing. However, they seems to be in rush. Although overall quality is ok, I find some details which are not well taken care of. For example, the frame around the door is not placed even. The caulking is not thorough. I can still see the crack. I plan to paint by myself to make them look better. Based on their professionalism, they can do better. Next time, I will ask them to slow down. Still want to hire them for the basement remodeling."

only gave us a fair estimate but advice on how to stabilize the structure until

customer service. They showed up, tore down existing structure, and the only
thing left behind was our new porch in approximately two days as promised. They
were able to reapply the original moldings and side door for access under the
porch, and restored our confidence in the safety and beauty of the stairs
leading to our home. This job was well worth the money.

"I've worked with many craftsmen in my life ... some that were highly skilled, but short on personality, and some that were all personality, but the job just failed to please. Daddy & Junior has got both of these items wrapped up in a beautifully painted package. Rodolpho Galo, the owner, has charisma, energy and knowledge of his trade. He had a way of making us know they would be doing a great job before they even started. He had great suggestions on color and this ultimately, was right on. He even delayed the start date by one day when I told him my floor guy finished late. And this was his suggestion, not mine! When they did an amazing job, I was not surprised. Rodolpho and two of his top notch staff, Jose and Nelson, were there every day, working very hard, repairing defects, paying close attention to detail, and even making additions in response to my requests without hesitation. They cleaned and swept the whole house afterwards. They are very customer service oriented. Our job was fairly large and they worked long days every day, not uncommonly till after 6 p.m. and one night even to 9 p.m., yet still had a smile and small talk for me afterwards. These gentlemen were not only excellent painters, but were very easy to be around. I enjoyed them and am surprised to say I'm a bit sad it's over! I'll miss seeing them every day. The pricing really couldn't be beat. Rodolpho could charge much more for the quality of the job. This team is something special! I would recommend them for any paint job, inside or out, and have not a single doubt you'll be as thrilled as I am! "This is the second time I have used MA Design and Construction for a project in my house. Both times were great. For the most recent job, they framed up a partially finished basement, added carpet, leveled the ceiling, added a door and electrical outlets and insulated and painted the walls. The finished product looked great. I have found them super easy to work with - they are always very responsive to any questions that I have and they are great about communicating. I plan to have them do additional work for us in the future."
