"The installation of the windows was a little sloppy. The door installation took too long, 2 days separated by 2 weeks. Responsiveness to our concern to get the work done on time we’re not satisfactory. There were some employees absent due to sickness. Although I understand it is not my responsibility to make sure the work gets done. We had to park outside the garage because the doors were stored there waiting for installation to continue."

"We hired Northcoast earlier this year to install another entry door and were so pleased with the door /installation that we decided to purchase additional doors for our garage. George was very accommodating and worked around our schedule to come out and show us the available selection of doors. About 4 weeks after the doors were ordered, we received a call from the installer (Ray) to schedule installation of the doors. Ray came the following business day and installed the doors. He did an excellent job with the installations and had both doors installed in about 4 hours. We are very happy with the doors and will definitely use Northcoast in the future."

"It was a perfect experience. I left a message for Gary (the owner) and he called me back within 10 minutes. We discussed what I wanted done, and scheduled an appointment for the next week. Gary and his partner, Greg, were actually early which was wonderfully refreshing. They started by asking me if I was an experienced fireplace user or if I would like a little crash course on proper fireplace care and the basic mechanics. This was great because this is the first house my wife and I have lived in that has a working fireplace. Gary gave a clear and concise explanation of the basic parts of a fireplace, showed me how to properly use the damper, and told us about some of the most common fireplace problems and their causes so we could avoid them. Greg and Gary did thorough visual inspections from the bottom and top of both of our fireplaces, and insured that there was enough draw for both to work properly. They told us about a couple of potential issues, and said that one wasn't serious and that we probably wouldn't need to fix it (and described why in detail) and gave us a quote for the second one (putting a new concrete crown on the chimney; their quote was very competitive with roofing companies that also mentioned this issue). I didn't feel any pressure or sales pitch, just that Gary was being helpful and informative. They also installed two caps on our fireplace flues. I asked them whether I should get a multi-flue cap or just individual caps, and Gary responded that multi-flue caps aren't usually cost-efficient unless you are capping 5 or more flues at once (which matches with the math I did when looking at purchasing caps on my own). When they came down from the roof, they also mentioned some places where our roof needed some work just out of pure kindness (they don't do roofing, and didn't try to push a roofing company on us). Overall a great experience with professional, prompt, polite, and knowledgeable guys. We will definitely use them every year while we live in the area."

The crew arrived at the time specified and completed the tear-off and installation expeditiously. Were very professional and clean. Ensured that none of plants and landscaping was harmed. Cleaned up after work very well. Salesman checked back couple of days later to make surethat work was satisfactory and took care of one small item that wasn't quite right.
Price was very competitive. Recommended them to several neighbors who then had the work done and they also were pleased.

"I was a little concerned about things going smoothly. I had emailed the project manager my list with photos, as I need to get some questions answered in advance of the visit. I had to make a few calls to get answers. But I figured if I could get the high priority items done it would still be worth it, especially for the price (an Angie's List special deal - 8 hours for $299). Colin arrived on time and diligently worked through the list. He was personable, answered questions and offered advice. Some of the things he did: planed 3 sticky doors, repaired a steel door where the layers were separating, repaired a gate opening and changed out the hardware, installed a light fixture, changed a lawn mower blade, replaced weatherstripping on garage door, re-caulked two sinks, installed a wall coat rack, several hooks and a towel bar and replaced blinds."
