"They returned my initial phone call within a day. Appointment was scheduled at noon on a Saturday and they showed up at exactly noon. Whole repair took only 25 minutes. They were fast, efficient, and professional.
Our house is 85 years old and had the original damper that needed to be removed. They installed what's called a Locktop damper which sits at the top of the chimney. There is a steal cable that you use to open the damper from inside the fireplace box that is attached to the damper at the top of the chimney. The damper springs up when open and comes completely down covering the chimney when closed.
They also took the time to let me know that the masonry work on the chimney looked pretty good except for some cement at the very top which he said isn't a big deal and could wait until spring.

The crew arrived at the time specified and completed the tear-off and installation expeditiously. Were very professional and clean. Ensured that none of plants and landscaping was harmed.
