"We engaged Bob Phalan of Phalan Construction to do a number of small to medium size projects in our home, including: building and installing stairs from the kitchen to garage, building/ finishing/ installing a stair handrail, building/ finishing/ installing doors for an existing kitchen cabinet, repairing 2 sinking decks, getting rid of squeaks in the floor, leveling a number of doors. Bob does excellent work, he really knows his stuff and is a master craftsman in all kinds of home projects, especially carpentry. "This company is OUTSTANDING! We had damage to the windows in the house we just bought and contacted Jeff to come out and do and estimate. His team responded immeadiately and came out the following day. Paul could not have been nicer, more professional or helpful. He look at the damaged window and was able to ascertain who installed them through a code on the window. Note, none of the other window companies pointed this out. He said that the windows are probably under warranty but if we could not get ahold of the installer we should just replace the glass through a glass company as the windows have another 5 years of shelf life. He said we did not need 16 new windows. I had 3 other quotes and all of them said we needed new windows. It is nice in this day and age to find a company that does the right thing and put integrity and good buisiness before a sale. I would never go to anyone else in the future and recommend them to every one I know."

We wanted the same key to different doors, so he rekeyed the front door, as well as changed the doorknob and rekeyed the new lock from the garage to the house. "John Carroll and his son John did an excellent job with repairs done to my 2 1/2 family house.  John was easy to work with and any time I needed to contact him, he quickly responded.  Pricing was on point.
     After the harsh winter and high winds, a large section of vinyl siding on the back of my house blew off.  Replacement siding was perfectly matched and seamlessly blends.  The siding on the front porch was buckling due to improper installation and it now looks great.
     Inside of the house three locksets were installed to replace original door closures in my 1895 home.  Three new windows were installed and now function beautifully.
     Overall, I am very pleased with all of the work they have done and would recommend them to anyone needing home improvements.  Thanks John and John.

"Finding the Perfect Painting Company
I love to paint and did all the interior painting at our last house myself but when we moved into our new home, a 3,000 sq ft Contemporary with 20 ft. ceilings, I knew that this was a job for a professional. We contacted three painting companies to get a quote but felt that most of them tried to avoid a job so big ? and difficult ? which was also reflected in their proposals. When I met with Rodolfo from Daddy & Junior he was the only one who was very excited about taking on a project like ours. When we received his quote ? which was significantly lower than the others ? going with Daddy & Junior was a no-brainer. 
The Painting Process
I had hired a color consultant to help me pick out the perfect paint colors for our new home. With her help I had picked out a warm light grey for the large living/kitchen area. Naively trusting her judgment I did not test the color. Once Rodolfo?s team started putting the selected paint on the walls it turned into a dark tan nightmare. Although his crew had already painted two of the main walls, Rodolfo agreed that this color was a no go and that we needed to find a better color solution. I was super embarrassed that I had not tested the color prior to hiring a painter and making Daddy & Junior go through all the trouble of repainting and changing their game plan. Once again, great thanks to Rodolfo and his crew for all their moral support and assistance in finding the PERFECT color!
The Quality of Work
Since Daddy & Junior had given us by far the lowest quote I was a little concerned that the quality of work would not meet my standards. But I was pleasantly surprised by the result: The whole house looks amazing!! I don?t think anybody could have done a better job, especially not in such a short time. I can?t believe that it only took Daddy & Junior 4 ½ days to paint the entire house including ceilings, baseboard and trim. 
The Crew
It is not always easy when you have the house full of strangers performing any kind of handy work but it did not feel that way with Daddy & Junior. Beside the outstanding work they do, they are wonderful people to be around with: hardworking, reliable, polite and honest ? and most importantly, with a great sense of humor. Rodolfo and his crew go above and beyond to make their clients happy: Daddy & Junior did not charge us for the additional labor needed to repaint the two living room walls and painted our railings and patio doors that were not part of the original proposal at no cost.
