"I got three bids on this job. Glen was the only contractor that pointed out several safety (trip) issues and said he would fix them and include it in the price. His price was competitive and his workmanship was excellent. He refinished our FR floor from a dark oak stained parquet floor to a natural finish… so good. Our pups had peed and stained some of the flooring. Glen repaired or replaced all of the stained areas. He was always on time and kept us in the loop as to how long the job would take. "We shopped around and found the flooring that we liked. The representative (very nice gentlemen) came out and measured the area and provided the estimate. The vinyl had to be ordered since none was available and Armstrong had to manufacture (in Georgia). This would take 30 days but we were willing to wait. There was no additional charge for this. Approximately 3 weeks after ordering, we were called and set an appointment. The installers arrived on time and within 4 to 5 hours, the work was completed beautifully."

"When I called for an estimate I was surprised at how quickly Mr. Straus was able to come. I knew the carpeting I wanted and he was able to get it in a reasonable time. (The carpet had to be run specially by the manufacturer.) When my remodel slowed down, he was very flexible about re-scheduling the date of installation to meet my new needs. "They did my ceramic tile floors but didn’t do any caulking and there are gaps between my baseboards and floor..plus didn’t finish installing the baseboards..they gave me how much to buy I was short bought more and they never returned to finish plus quoted us to do the bathroom. They were suppose to come on october 9th to finish and never called it showed up so now we are stuck with what we have..thanks guys like hope depot didn’t screw me enough."
