"David Medlin, of Medlin's Plumbing, did an extraordinary job in replacing my water heater. He is honest, fair, and thorough. I cannot recommend him highly enough! He is excellent and a true professional!"

"Mike & crew were beyond my expectations! Needing septic repair and trying to find a competent and reasonably priced professional is harder than it should be, until I found MKB Plumbing and Septic. They took the time to listen to me, assess the situation and give me an immediate quote. Work was performed the next day and I couldn't be happier with the results! I would recommend this company for any plumbing or septic problem. Mike, the owner, is knowledgeable, professional and a cut above any other plumbing contractor I've dealt with in the past. Call them!"

My water heater went out nearly two weeks ago the night before we took a week long trip.  Since we had another place to take showers, we got the company  we use for other ac/heating service to shut down the water heater and also got a proposal from them which was around $2200 for a water heater of the exact make (State) as the one which went bad.

After reading some water heater reviews, we decided we'd prefer a Rheem, so didn't use the first service provider.

We got a quote from another plumbing co which was roughly the same (only about $150 more) as the Water Heater Experts quote, but saw in Angie's List that they only had a "B" rating.

Seeing that Water Heater Experts had an "A" rating and specialized in water heaters, I called them and discussed our needs with them to see what they had to say.

Unlike the other plumbing company, they did not try to "upsell" me in any way.  In fact, they did more of a "downsell" and probably lost out on what would have been a few quick "sucker" bucks (not really, I'm not that gullible).

Anyway, from my discussions with both the boss and the installer, I decided to just get the basics done and see how well this higher rated Rheem water heater performs.  Their labor guarantee made that a comfortable decision.

Also, I learned from them that a few simple things like regularly draining the water heater once a year or so could prolong the life of the water heater (and that the problem isn't necessarily a bad water supply, as another plumbing co tried to sell).

My old "State" brand heater started leaking after 8 years use.  Oddly enough, though, Water Heater Experts told me that my old water heater was actually BUILT much longer ago  and showed me how to determine this based on model/serial numbers.

Since I have rental property with the identical brand (only 40 gal instead of 50), I checked and found that it is also MUCH OLDER than I had thought.

I'm planning to drain that tank soon to see what kind of goo comes out.

Great service, good advice, good prices, and a better warranty on labor than the other guys I checked.

And if I ever need a replacement (maybe for the rental), I'm DEFINITELY calling the Water Heater Experts AGAIN.

"Removed 20 year old water heaters. Installed tankless water heater. Very pleased with product. Plumbers were prompt, knowledgeable, explained all options available, gave us an in service of our unit after completion of installation. I feel like we received excellent value for the money. Would highly recommend this company."

"Three new tanks (pH, Iron, Softener) were replaced and a new drinking water system at the sink was installed. Great professional people to work with very communitive and honest. Answered all of my questions and provided fast feedback. No issues with system- works great."

"Chris was great, I am a well pump service technician, and after replacing a well pump my customer was having problems with his water heater making noise. I called around and finally found HOTCO and talked with Chris, as this system had a solar maintained/assisted hot water heater mounted in the upstairs attic. I am not familiar with this type of system and Chris walked myself and the customer through some checks and maintenance tasks over the phone. I would definitely recommend these guys, as their customer service is top notch."

"Two other plumbing companies gave me quotes to replace my tankless water heater. ER was the only company that took the time to figure out the problem. Then, to my amazement, ER's plumbing expert, Andy Harbin, repaired it! I haven't had hot water in weeks. Last night I took the best shower in my life. Everything worked perfectly."

"McCoy plumbing called us and voiced an appropriate estimate and was very professional and we would definitely hire him in the future,However we had 3 different estimates and one could do the job in a more timely matter. But we would definitely hire this contractor in the future."

"Extremely pleased! Called to make an appointment for a new hot water heater and Brian was here within an hour and half. Very reasonable rates, punctual, and zero pressure of up-selling. Highly recommend!"
