Our water heater had been in the attic since the house was built, about 15 years.  We had started thinking it was time to replace it, before we had an incident that would require drywall and paint.  Scott, The Water Heater Experts owner, is GREAT!  He came out to assess our situation and advised me on the pros and cons of tankless water heating. We decided to replace our existing tank with a new one, rather than installing tankless. Scott pointed out the items in the attic that would need to be brought up to code and included that in the replacement estimate. The new heater is the same brand as our previous one (Rheem, 50 gal) with some new features that Scott took care to explain.  Scott and an assistant brought the new heater and removed the old one, which I thought would be a real trick to get it out of the attic but I honestly did not hear them remove it and didn't even know it was done.  They shut off the water, drained the tank and made the code adjustments and installation in about 2.5 hours. I was completely impressed by how they approached the project and cleaned up after themselves. Because water heaters are a once every 10-15 year purchase, companies like these rely on recommendations rather than repeat business (although Scott guarantees his installations and supports any problems.)  I can say I highly recommend Scott and the Water Heater Experts!

"Tim did a great job with the replacement of our water heater. Even though it was the day after Thanksgiving he moved some of his other appointments around to come to our home that afternoon. Tim and his assistant were careful to put on shoe covers in the house and to observe COVID 19 precautions. The job required more complicated plumbing since we have a desuperheater loop from our geothermal heat pump that connects to the water heater; the additional charge for this work was minimal. Tim was here until after 5:00 that evening, with the result that we had hot water over the weekend."

"A very good experience overall.  The owner Scott came by on a Friday to give me an estimate for a standard electric as well as for a new hybrid water heater and any necessary additions needed due to state codes.  I made my decision that afternoon, and made an appt for Tuesday to have the standard water heater I selected.  Scott called over the weekend saying they had an opening for Monday had become available for the install.  I returned the call and accepted.  The install technician arrived Monday on-time and installed the water heater, hauled away my old one, and cleaned everything up in about 90 minutes.  A very professional company that I would recommend to anyone needing a water heater.

"We had concerns with our air quality and especially mold. Mr. Lindsay came out - one of the few who responded, and when I say responded - it was as if I was texting with someone - quick answers, no flip flopping - straight up and honest. He came out - found our issues, recommended what was needed and nothing more while also informing us how to take care of some things (outside this scope of work) in a cost effective and proper method. When we were cleaning out the crawl space I noticed the water heater was leaking. One message to Mr. Lindsay and he was able to fit that into the effort at an awesome price! They showed up exactly on time - took the exact amount of time he stated initially and put everything back the way it was when completed. His crew was courteous and professional as was he. Mr. Lindsay didn't rush us at all and spent as much time as we needed to discuss anything we brought up - from shower replacement to AC units - anything at all he gave us the time. We have a few older pets with special needs, his understanding and compassion when we expressed our concerns with their well being was a breath of fresh air (pun intended). I had given up on some of the local folks after the years of getting messed over - Mr Lindsay restored my hope and left us feeling safer and extremely satisfied.
