"Jimmy Gusky HVAC is truly as good as it gets. One of our AC units went down and through the warranty company found our way to Jimmy Gusky himself. Although out of their territory, Jimmy was willing to make the extra trip to diagnose the problem. He was very responsive to get our initial service call scheduled and determined the unit needed to be replaced, and we all know these units usually decide to break down only when pushed to the limit in the hottest summer months and we need AC the most. He did the legwork to get the warranty company to honor the recommendation and as you can see from the attached photo put in a much more substantial unit that is doing a fabulous job cooling the home. Add to that he actually had the unit and scheduled the install even before the warranty company approved the swap out. I that isn't one of the greatest examples of outstanding customer service and going above and beyond to exceed expectations, I don't know what is. Big thanks to Jimmy and team for their commitment to excellence!"

"The old well above-ground water pump stopped working and they responded promptly with a submersed replacement. The old piping was pulled from the well and replaced with new piping and power cable. The old water filter holder was difficult to use and not secured well; they replaced it, relocated it to free up basement space and fastened it securely to the wall. The pressure tank was also moved to a better location to free up space. The plumbing and electrical were re-routed. The pressure switch and pressure gauge were replaced. They were very cooperative and accommodating to my suggestions and wishes. The cost was reasonable."

Unfortunately, the water heater is behind my HVAC, so they had to remove the HVAC, remove the old water heater, install the new heater, and replace the HVAC. They did a perfect job. They also replaced the freon in my HVAC, because the prior repairmen didn’t add freon. In addition, they fixed the jets in my spa. "I felt I paid too much for the water heater, but I believed the plumber when he told me i needed a new one. That is not really the issue. When the gas valve on the water heater went bad (diagnostic light blinking) I tried to get them to replace it under warranty. I had to fight with them to replace the valve. Then they charged me double what another plumber would have charged to replace the same valve as the plumber that did the water heater was sick or something. I did not feel I was treated honestly."

"I have struggled with how to really address a mold problem. Had a company come in and spray; they should have recommended more thorough action. Since, I did not have a good feeling that the problem was solved, I contacted AHS. The initial evaluation was free. The estimator was very thorough and listened to all of my concerns. Because the mold was visible he recommended we test the air, I agreed. Received results from AHS timely. The mold remediation team of three was timely, thoughtful and went beyond the call of duty. I feel that the mold has been cleaned up. Will do maintenance, ex: get a dehumidifier for the spring/summer. Note that I got a discount because of a recommendation from a neighborhood list serv. The remediation work cost $1,800. I would with out question use AHS again. They have certified inspectors that know what they are doing. Finally, based on AMC's advice I am replacing all paper and box containers with plastic to be sure. A successful project."
