"While the materials and communication was good, unfortunately there were some things that left a bad taste and I am not sure I would use them again. While there were some issues that they are addressing quickly, like replacing a part of the door they changed because a piece was smothered with white silicone, and also replacing a panel that was broken when they capped the trim outside my home, and they destroyed my big rosemary bush. I'm baffled as to why they didn't notify me at the moment and instead I had to wait until the walk-through to find out. The forklift person who came to pick up some material that wasn't used left a hole in my driveway. I just sent them some pictures, but haven't heard back, but hopefully this looks like it will be repaired. I am also not happy with how the door looks after the install and the reply from the QA walk-through was 'that is how we seal all the doors'. I appreciate that the amount of clear silicone used will prevent leaks and bugs, it looks like someone watched a whole bunch of YouTube videos and at the end some measurement went wrong and the mistake was covered up with an uneven line of silicone. Time will tell how long the silicone will hold against concrete. I would have hoped instead that they let me know it would look bad and talk about options even if it meant spending more money to get it to look OK. door install: [*** Link removed ***] [*** Link removed ***] white silicon smears: [*** Link removed ***] bush: [*** Link removed ***] broken panel: [*** Link removed ***] driveway: [*** Link removed ***]"

"Everything from the initial consultation to the final walk-through went as smoothly as could be. I still had the original 60 year old wooden windows, an original back door, and original gutters, and they were in very poor condition. I would get so much moisture on the inside of the windows in winter that I would have to go around with a towel to wipe off the windows and window sills ,not to mention that they were very drafty and hard to open and close properly. I met with Tony, who was great to work with. It was such a relief not to have a pushy sales person take up my whole night with a long aggressive sales pitch. Fast forward to the day of the installation...The windows & door were replaced in one day, and the gutters were replaced a few days later. The crew was courteous, clean and professional, and everything was cleaned up completely when they finished. I wasn't asked for the final payment until we did a walk through weeks later, with Howard, the Quality Control Supervisor, to look at the windows, the door, and gutters, and made sure there were no questions or concerns. As far as contractors go, Peak Custom Remodeling was a great find and very easy to work with. If I decide to replace any other doors, or the roof, or do any additional work on the house they will be the first company I call."

"ABC Garage Repair is TOP NOTCH!  I have 2 garage doors and both of the auto openers were old and needed replacement.  I emailed 3 of Angie's List "A" rated companies and Jesse from ABC was the ONLY ONE to respond to my inquiry.  They got the business based solely on that.  Confirmed an appointment w/in 3 days of initial contact.  The installer was friendly, informative and timely.  Replaced both openers and put in a exterior key pad but the rollers were old and although the doors opened they were loud and the garage doors needed a tune up.  Scheduled ABC for the tune up  the next day and another tech came out - same story, on time, friendly, experienced and walked through everything.  I received a little discount on the tune up since we had just spent a lot on the openers.  Great service.  Roller/Tune up made a huge difference and it's amazing what a difference.  GREAT SERVICE!  I would recommend ABC to friends, clients and Angie's listers!

"It went well! The guys were friendly and honest, particularly about one aspect of the door opener mounting."

"It finally came time for us to replace two old wooden garage doors. First I did some research on garage doors in general. Lots of info on the Internet. Then I did extensive research on quality garage door contractors in my area. Used Yelp and other sources. Came up with a list of five quality candidates and sent details to each for bids. Eliminated 3 in relatively short order for various reasons. Came down to two candidates for the same two door options (either a Clopay or a CHI) -- Academy and another contractor. I focused on all decisioning points -- service, price, features, warranty, etc. Both were very close on price so that was not a discriminating factor. However, all the other factors came out very much in favor of Academy. Our sales contact, Dave McLaughlin was superb. Knowledgeable, responsive, helpful. The two managers at HQ -- John and Alan -- also very professional and responsive. So I did the order with Academy and selected the Clopay doors. Doors arrived in the time period they said. Scheduled the install. Jim and Coach (two HUGE guys!) showed up and did the install. They were even able to deal with the fact that my floor was off level just a shade. Made the doors fit well. Thanks guys! So far so good! Love the new doors! SO much better than the old ones in every way. Now I have to fix up my house b/c the garage doors are now the best part!"

"A spring on my garage door unexpectedly broke, and Precision was able to fit me in for same day service. The technician came out that afternoon, explained exactly what happened to me, and went over what it would take to do the repair. He then fixed everything very quickly, including making sure my garage door was in a good state overall. I would absolutely recommend this company and will most definitely continue to use them."

"Supreme window and door did an excellent job replacing all of our windows. From start to finish they provided the highest quality service and best product on the market."

"We had them install all the roofing and other hardware for a full Tesla solar roof. Once that project was going, we also had them do 5 outer window/door projects for us. All went well and we're happy we had them do everything!"

"After a couple of contractor missteps on my part, I finally called the right contractor to do the job and that was Roberts Property Management. Over time my home had developed a number of leaks which were starting to ruin the internal structure and the interior. When Dennis Roberts came over to discuss my job, I could tell within a few minutes that this guy knew what he was doing and how to get this job done. Within one day (1 day!) of starting my job, Dennis and his crew had discovered the problem leak areas. A big part of the problem was old sliding glass doors and poor weatherproofing by previous contractors. I had sliding glass doors with half round windows above in 2 locations and a standard slider in another location. We replaced the 2 sliders but installed transoms instead of half round windows above them. The third slider was replaced by three panel window. Once we established what we needed Dennis and his crew, ordered all the materials, installed all doors and window redid all the house wrap, siding, soffit, framing, trim, drywall, paint and cleanup. Right as we were just about finished with everything, I discovered new leak areas on the ceiling and chimney. In spite of a very busy schedule, Dennis and the guys stayed on to do the additional work which required a new chimney cap, and new skylight. One of his guys even came by to check for water tightness during a rain storm. Finally! No more leaks! After five or more years of worrying about water damage I now have peace of mind. I can't thank RPM enough for all the work they did. These guys know their stuff! They were professional, punctual, friendly, and efficient. One of the best parts of the job was that Dennis was always easy to get a hold of and very easy to talk to. If I had any questions or concerns, Dennis explained everything very clearly plus I always knew what the schedule was and where we were on my job. Next time I need work done on my place, I won't think twice about RPM. I love being able to call just one contractor who I now know and trust to take care of whatever I need to get done."
