He took a look at the system and confirmed that the furnace was running as expected, and he didn’t find evidence of a cracked heat exchanger. I was hoping for a definitive answer as to why the air wasn’t flowing out of several of my vents, but he was only able to confirm that it wasn’t due to the furnace itself. I may have clogged or separated ductwork behind the walls, but he wasn’t able to diagnose/confirm. At least I know the furnace itself isn’t the source."

"I'd become increasingly concerned about the company I was using for my AC and heating needs. When I knew we needed a lot of work doing, I decided to search for a new company that I could trust. We needed to get 4 new AC units installed. They were 17 years old and leaking, so we took the plunge and decided to replace them. I had a lot of questions around the systems in my house and what to install. During my phone conversations Donny was extremely helpful and patient. He answered all my questions and I believe that he gave me honest suggestions on the best solutions for my home and living situation. I found him to be honest, trustworthy and very knowledgeable. The install went smoothly, one of the units was tucked away in a tight closet in my daughters room, and they dealt with that easily. They installed 4 new controllers. They were tidy, and worked long hours to get the job done. In addition they spent time explaining the new systems to us and answering questions of ours that arose. We are really pleased with the new systems and controllers, we have peace of mind that we've installed good, reliable systems, and that we have a great company looking after our AC and heating needs. I also hired them to do annual service visits for our heating and AC. So far they have performed the winter maintenance visit, and identified a couple of things that needed addressing to prevent possible problems this winter. What they recommended made sense to us, and we thought they were valid and worthwhile repairs. As we trust this company, we decided to go ahead and get the work done. Chris D came to do the repair job. He was very friendly, helpful, hard working, and did a great job. He also took time to make sure we knew what was going on. I'm hugely relieved that I found this company. It's increasingly rare to find companies to help out in the home who are good at what they do, honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend them. "It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. I’ve gotten calls to insure we are satisfied with the work. Satisfied barely covers it- I am pleased to write this kind of review. "Anji recommended four plumbers. Cassidy was the first to respond on Friday afternoon. One other plumber responded but I could not understand his heavy accent, and he asked me if I wanted him to replace the whole burner assembly. That made no sense to me and I questioned him about it. Suddenly he became "too busy" and hung up the phone. Another plumber didn't respond until Monday morning. Too late. The fourth plumber never responded at all. Cassidy asked if it was an emergency or could wait until Monday. I said Monday. and asked what time? I did not get an answer on Friday. Around 8:30P I called and got an answering service which told me that I wouldn't get a response until Monday because their office closed at 8:00P. I had asked about what time on Monday before 6:00P George arrived Monday morning. He was friendly. He knew what he was doing. He replaced the thermocouple. All work was done neatly and professionally. We have hot water again. I'd use Cassidy again."

"This was an extremely difficult job, squeezing a Carrier Infinity AC system into the end of an attic that has a 38' run only 36" high from floor to the peak.  The floor of the attic is covered with loose cellulose insulation.  Even now, it's starting to get hot up there.  This was definitely not a job for anyone particular about working conditions.
We got three bids.  One was a little higher than BELL.  The other was much higher than BELL, possibly because the guy really didn't want to deal with us.
Aside from price, one of the reasons we went with BELL was the salesman, Brian.  He set a record for consistently rapid response.  While one place took a week to turn around questions, Brian often replied within an hour.  He had initially suggested a fancier heat pump system but then quickly adjusted to giving us exactly what we wanted.  He crawled to the end of the attic and figured out how to fit the units.  He also worked with us to route the services up an unused chimney so that they couldn't be seen from the outside.
The two guys, Hakim (I hope that I got that right) and Patrick, who were here for the whole operation, did a terrific job under very challenging conditions.  This being a pretty big investment, I checked on them frequently.  Aside from fitting the air handler, air purifier, and heating coils in a very tight space while keeping them serviceable, they had to run and insulate long ducts to five supply vents and one return.  It's almost impossible to appreciate the difficulty of doing this without being there, but maybe picture crawling into a 36" tall triangular dark oven, twisting yourself up like a pretzel to connect and insulate ducts on both sides, having someone blow cellulose in your face to increase job satisfaction, and setting the timer for 8 hours.  At the end of each day they looked ready for the glue factory, but they kept saying that they were determined to do a great job, and they did.
At the end, Keith Bell came by to set up the wireless control unit.  I was impressed that several times he answered my e-mail late in the evening.  The handling of the paperwork by the office was very smooth.
The installation, from beginning to end, was a very good experience, at least for those of us who didn't have to crawl around in the attic and do the actual work.  The quality was excellent.  If you have a hot attic installation, my advice would be to schedule it outside of the summer months - this job would have been cruel and unusual, and maybe even impossible,  then.  You also need to work with your contractor - don't just ask them to call you when it's done.  Finally, if possible, it's good to spend some time with the guys doing the work to gain a little appreciation of what others do.

"We used Schede to replace our central air conditioner. Overall, we are satisfied with the new system and the price but the customer service was not satisfying. I think they did everything we needed in terms of the mechanical work. But they should better train their office help. After we agreed on the installation date, I asked what time the crew would arrive that morning. They gave a vague answer so I asked again the next day. But they arrived two hours later than expected. After they were done, we discovered that we needed a minor adjustment and scheduled a time for them to come. An hour after they were due, I called and was told they were not coming that day. The next day was the same – I called after they were overdue and was told they were not coming that day. They finally came the third day. The technician solved the problem and was apologetic. But it was quite frustrating that they did not come as scheduled and did not initiate the call to say they would be late or there was a problem."

Alex spent no less than six hours cleaning every inch of a three-thermostat system. To make things better, he left the areas where he had worked in the apartment immaculate.
