"Everything from the initial consultation to the final walk-through went as smoothly as could be. I still had the original 60 year old wooden windows, an original back door, and original gutters, and they were in very poor condition. I would get so much moisture on the inside of the windows in winter that I would have to go around with a towel to wipe off the windows and window sills ,not to mention that they were very drafty and hard to open and close properly. I met with Tony, who was great to work with. It was such a relief not to have a pushy sales person take up my whole night with a long aggressive sales pitch. Fast forward to the day of the installation...The windows & door were replaced in one day, and the gutters were replaced a few days later. The crew was courteous, clean and professional, and everything was cleaned up completely when they finished. I wasn't asked for the final payment until we did a walk through weeks later, with Howard, the Quality Control Supervisor, to look at the windows, the door, and gutters, and made sure there were no questions or concerns. As far as contractors go, Peak Custom Remodeling was a great find and very easy to work with. If I decide to replace any other doors, or the roof, or do any additional work on the house they will be the first company I call."

"It finally came time for us to replace two old wooden garage doors. First I did some research on garage doors in general. Lots of info on the Internet. Then I did extensive research on quality garage door contractors in my area. Used Yelp and other sources. Came up with a list of five quality candidates and sent details to each for bids. Eliminated 3 in relatively short order for various reasons. Came down to two candidates for the same two door options (either a Clopay or a CHI) -- Academy and another contractor. I focused on all decisioning points -- service, price, features, warranty, etc. Both were very close on price so that was not a discriminating factor. However, all the other factors came out very much in favor of Academy. Our sales contact, Dave McLaughlin was superb. Knowledgeable, responsive, helpful. The two managers at HQ -- John and Alan -- also very professional and responsive. So I did the order with Academy and selected the Clopay doors. Doors arrived in the time period they said. Scheduled the install. Jim and Coach (two HUGE guys!) showed up and did the install. They were even able to deal with the fact that my floor was off level just a shade. Made the doors fit well. Thanks guys! So far so good! Love the new doors! SO much better than the old ones in every way. Now I have to fix up my house b/c the garage doors are now the best part!"

"Wayne was wonderful. I called one afternoon & he was there the next day-scheduling the appointment at my convenience. He was there exactly as promised. He was very nice, extremely professional. As he was adding a deadbolt which involved drilling through the wood door, he made sure the area was covered to keep everying clean. Upon completion, he made very sure that the lock worked smoothly. "The sales rep was professional, punctual, and offered a great price for Simonton windows. If you do your research you'll find that Simonton offers a great product that they really stand behind, however the styling may be a little old and the frame bulkier than the competition. However, look at their ratings in JD power, Consumer Reports magazine, and internet reviews- its virtually bulletproof. However, we were a little disappointed in the salesperson's knowledge of the install process, so even though the price was great we didn't select Supreme Windows in the end. The sales rep was professional and refrained from high-pressure sales tactics. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend.

"I purchased a roof inspection and tune-up through Angie’s list. I was contacted quickly to set up the appointment and provided a reminder. The technician was Jim L. who was great! He explained what he would do, then proceeded to inspect the attic and roof, making some repairs to the roof as necessary. When completed, we sat down to review pictures and discuss options. Jim L. explained things clearly but did not pressure us to do anything at this time. When the time comes to repair or replace the roof, we will definitely contact American Home Contractors! "We are selling our home and the buyer's inspection said that our windows would not hold open. I called William Boston and he was very helpful on the phone and even though he was very busy he asked one of his workers to come out to the house to see what needed to be done. His evaluation was that when the windows were cleaned they were not replaced properly. He took each window out and realigned them so that now they work well and the windows stay in place when opened. I want to thank him for his responsiveness and his ability to do the necessary repairs.

".Chris  came to my house in about an hour after I called.  He assessed the situation and fixed the problem in about 20 minutes. 
The door latch was loose and extremely hard to open. He removed the latch, assessed the problem and had it in working order in a very short time.
   I have called on him in the past and highly recommend him to anyone who needs a locksmith.
