"Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.

"Jeff told me the foundation settling was very minor for a house built in the 1970's.  No water problems in basement.  He did recommend I have the gutters replaced, with 6" gutters, and to make sure water is draining away from house.  Also, he asked me to contact him if the foundation settled more in the future.  He did not do any work other than give me a free evaluation.  Jeff was very professional and honest. I will definitely use his company if I have anymore foundation or drainage issues.

"When I moved into my house, the garage door opener did not work. After manually opening and closing my door for over a year, I heard about American Garage Doors and Openers and made an appointment. To my suprise they came out the same day! Will came out and was extremely polite, professional, and did an amazing job. In my experience with service companies, many give off the impression that they are trying to up-sell or take advantage of the customer if their customer seems uneducated on the problem. That was not so in this case. I know nothing about the internal operation of a garage door opener, however Will did not try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge when he very well could have.
Not only did he get my opener working again, but he oiled my door and tightened all the nuts and bolts to ensure proper operation of all parts. I would highly recommend American Garage Doors and Openers to others and I would ABSOLUTELY use them again!

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
