"I can't say enough good things about Econ. We originally contacted them for a mouse problem. Between the great reviews they had and the special they were running we contacted them. The woman we talked to in the office, I believe her name was Debbie, was so nice and very professional. She told us about an upgrade which would covered a multitude of things not just the mice. She never pressured us to take the upgrade just fully explained it to us and let us make the decision. We went for the upgrade.  They were here just 2 days after we set-up the appointment. David, the technician, arrived right on time. He too was very nice, very professional and very knowledgeable. We walked the house and I showed him all the areas we were having troubles. He fully explained to me what he was going to do and how everything would work. He answered all my questions. Once we finished with the tour David set to work. He was very quick and efficient. After he let me know what was done and what we needed to do so they can track the progress of what they had done (i.e. vacuum old mouse droppings, etc...). He mentioned that since we had the pool and a large wooded area behind our house that Econ does do a mosquito service and he gave us the pricing for it. Again he never pressured he only presented the information.  It will take a while to determine if what they have done is effective, but I can say without hesitation if you are looking for an exterminator these guys are very good.

She assisted us during every phase of the work. She helped ensure that Charter Oak respond promptly to each of our estimate requests, which was important because we live out-of- state. Jeff Harder, company manager, is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He explained everything in detail and offered several alternate options for our drainage problem. The company is completely trustworthy. Many of the activities were done in our absence and we felt comfortable opening our house to the employees. When we were present during the projects we were impressed with the workers – they treated the “job” like it was their home. All projects were started and completed in a timely fashion. An illustration of their commitment to their clients follows: We were out of town but my cousin routinely visited the house to ensure its safety. She reported increased moisture in our basement. Jeff turned on the dehumidifier and set it to automatically empty into the drainage system. Left unattended this could have resulted in a major headache for us. "It worked out okay, except that I would have anticipated, the cost just gets more. They always find those things, so it starts at $99 and end up spending $300 or $400. People tell me they always find mold inside your air duct, so they have to put a chemical. They call it a total cleaning as opposed to the regular cleaning which I paid for. What they did seemed to have worked. I have suspicions about when they find other things. "
