"I had called out 4 different companies to come and give us an estimate. West Coast Plumbing was the 4th and final one to come out. I had kinda resigned to the fact that we were just going to some how borrow the money to get the water main fixed. The City of course says it needs to be done within 30 days of some kind of leak being noticed by us the homeowner. Our water bill jumped up by $600.00 Long story short, John from West Coast Plumbing came out to take a look. John not only thoroughly took a look at what we already dug out , but told us he can't say for sure until he can get a better look. John said the first thing that needed to be done was have 811 out and to mark all the lines so nothing gets accidentally hit while the digging is going on. He said he would proceed to write me up a estimate that covered the minimal to the worse case scenario. It was very detailed and answered all of my questions. I decided to go with West Coast Plumbing. Not only was John very knowledgeable, but professional and friendly. He was also the only one that said 811 needed to be out before anything could be done. It was better to be safe than sorry. John called 811 and they were all here and done the same day. I was not charged for the trip out by John, it was a free estimate. I was told by another company it was a free estimate and then charged $150.00. I just can't say enough about John and West Coast Plumbing. An honest down to earth small family business that will go out of their way to ensure that your plumbing issues are resolved professionally. 2, Jason the owner is on site! He is prompt, easy to work with and takes the time to explain what is going on during the process. 3. Goes beyond to ensure that his work is complete to his satisfaction. Through the process of elimination he was able to determine that there was a blockage between the washing machine and main line. So every time the washing machine would drain, the water would backup into the tub. Thank you Jason and Tammy!!! For, your info and precaution. If you have an attachment that goes at the end of your drain hose of your washing machine. To prevent loose items from the washing machine to plug the drain that the end piece itself, doesn’t separate and plug the drain!! Pic of culprit attch."

"We had an overall ok experience with Hunt's Services. Scheduling felt impersonal. After I tried to contact them through Angi, a system-sent text message directed me to their website to start the communication process all over again. Eventually someone did call to set up an appointment. Their system does not, however, appear capable of offering an appointment time or even a time window. They only offered a scheduled day and then 30 minutes notice when a technician was on their way. Fortunately, I am able to work from home and be flexible about breaks, so this worked ok for me. But for someone who needs to actually go to work or run errands, they may not be your best option. Pricing seemed a bit high. The cost to replace our leaky faucet was at the high end (or possibly higher) of what the internet seemed to indicate was normal for that service. Also, I didn't really need the faucet installed, since I'm reasonably handy at these things. I only needed the old one removed since it was apparently damaged and stuck in place (they eventually needed a Sawzall to remove it). But that service wasn't on their pre-defined menu of procedures, so full replacement was the only option they were able to quote. We needed the leak fixed, so we chose to have them complete the entire job rather than seeing if we could find someone else to do the work. Workmanship was decent. The replacement faucet was installed without leaks. The drain stopper was installed backwards, however, which meant that it couldn't be removed for cleaning or maintenance. I needed to partially disassemble the drain in order to correct this. It wasn't a big deal, but didn't feel like it should be necessary. All that being said, the leak that existed when they showed up was no longer there by the time they left. The technicians themselves were courteous and efficient. So they did fulfil our primary need in hiring a plumber. But we'll probably look at other options, or at least get more quotes for comparison, the next time we need something like this taken care of."
