My torquemaster spring system had broken, so after much research, I decided to convert to a torsion spring system. I opted for the powder coated springs, since they came with a lifetime warranty for the springs and all associated hardware. I discovered Precision Door Service on Angie's list, along with numerous other "A" rated companies. I did make inquiries with several other companies, but found the warranties to be inadequate, even though the phone price quotes were lower than what I ended up paying to Precision Door Service. They did a very nice job. The owner was the person I largely dealt with. They were drastically cheaper than Pella was. I remembered them three or four years later without finding the paperwork and I am a crabby person. My recollection was that they called to confirm we had an appointment and told me they were on the way. They were easy to work with if you are a working person. I have never had a repair on the things they put up in all this time. I have another window I want them to do.
