"Responded quickly to come out and diagnose our furnace that had just died. After speaking with the dispatcher a technician arrived at our house within 30 minutes. Being that it was going to be about 17 degrees that night the technician left us with two space heaters to hold us over until we could get the furnace replaced. Two days later a crew came out to install the new furnace. These guys were excellent, one of the best crews that I have ever worked with leaving me with a great deal of confidence that the job was done right. "I requested quotes from 3 local area plumbing and heating contractors as well as the company selling through Costco. <br /> Rick from Neighborhood Plumbing came to the house, did a thorough review of the current system, as well as my additional requirements for improvements to the system and promptly delivered a quote. (Not on the spot, but within 24 hours). <br /> Their quote also contained some optional features that were quoted separately. They also provided me with the option to select the brand of the furnace and air conditioner along with pros/cons of the options. <br /> Neighborhood's quote was not the lowest, but it provided me with the most flexibility for my situation. I made my final decision about the options I wanted, contacted Rick with the final configuration and a target price. He went to work for me and wrote up a final quote. We met at the local coffee shop where I signed the quote and it was done. <br /> We scheduled the installation for about 10 - 14 days later to match my schedule and to allow delivery time for some of the specialty items I had requested. We knew it would be a two day project. <br /> On day 1, Rich and Brandon arrived on site to remove the old furnace and AC units and install the new furnace and AC units. They also reworked the ducting. <br /> On day 2, Greg and Brandon arrived to replace the dampers, install all the controllers for the new zone system as well as the thermostats and the humidifier.  They ended up finding a bad circuit board on the zone controller and needed order a new one and come back later to finish the job.  (this did not affect the operation of the system) <br /> Rick came back a few days later with the replacement card, finished everything up.  He did a final test of the freon levels in the Air Conditioner and completed the necessary paperwork for warranties and rebates for me. <br /> Every interaction with all 3 of these men was very professional.  They cleaned up everything each day.  They made sure I was happy with the day's progress prior to leaving and communicated very well throughout the project. <br /> I would highly recommend Neighborhood Plumbing and Heating to anyone looking for a fantastic company to work with. <br /> P.S. My first experience with Neighborhood Plumbing was in February when I was house sitting for a neighbor and their furnace went out.  I contact Neighborhood Plumbing, Brandon arrived within an hour and fixed it up. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"On September 18, 2025 My husband and I had our furnace replaced by Neighborhood Plumbing, Heating and Air. They did such an amazing job, very professional and organized like a well oiled machine. Justin and Andrew were our installers and we would recommend them to anyone. They were so thorough and explained everything they did and installed a new thermostat and showed us how to operate it. Two weeks later the electrician Spencer came out and installed a surge protector onto the furnace and showed us how to operate it. We would recommend Spencer to anyone also.
