"Vestige was fantastic. We discovered we had an oil tank on our property after having a new gas furnace installed and the old lines caused a leak into the basement of my home. We where not informed of an oil tank when purchasing our property in 2008.The leak caused my home to smell like a mechanics garage to put it mildly. Alex was fantastic, he assessed the issue, answered all my questions. Drained and removed the tank and sealed the lines coming in my home. I would highly recommend this company."

"The extended new wall solved a slope problem where the tree-like shrubs were leaning over into the neighbor's yard. The appearance of the wall and fence is much improved. The contractor's suggestion to put the previous fence's replacement on top of the wall was also very positive. The new wall and fence are much more attractive and stable than the previous. (A minor point: some of the debris from the previous wall was not removed.)"

"57th ACliff, Chris and Craig provided excellent service for us.  We needed them to help us recycle and haul away refuse left by an evicted tenant.  The home was a true disaster.  They helped us remove carpets, clean up the yard and remove a lot of left over garbage from the tenants.  It took us two days to remove all the junk -- everything you could imagine.  Cliff was very professional and honest.  I will use them again in the future and I would heartily recommend them to anyone.

"We recently hired Nelson Concrete to pour a patio in our yard. Nelson was very helpful in explaining our options and helping design the project. His price was very competitive. We signed the contract Friday afternoon and on Monday the Nelson crew was on site. The concrete was poured by Wednesday and Nelson came on Thanksgiving Morning to finish the project. The resulting patio is exactly what we requested and we are very pleased."

"Fast, efficient, friendly. They did a superb job. This was a joint project where fences were removed and replaced in the back yards of four contiguous homes. Quite an interesting operation that was well-done. We've heard positive feedback from all the homeowners. Definitely a quality operation."

"Purchased a Big Deal for paver patio installation. They were booked a few months out, but said they'd be in touch to schedule the installation around the last week of July/first week of August. The morning of July 21st Rockey called to say they'd had some time open and could come to install that day. He and two other workers came a few hours later and worked quickly. Unfortunately, I had to leave for work before they were finished. When I returned late that night, the patio itself looked fine, but one corner, which is on a slope, looked unfinished. There is a large amount of paver sand just mounded against the pavers and spilling across that part of the yard. Clearly, the sand will start to was away and erode once it starts raining regularly, and then the edge of the patio will start to crumble. When I called to ask if they were considering this finished, or if they were coming back, the response was that they were finished and that the deal didn't include any "retaining wall" work to secure edges of the new patio. They could come back to do the work eventually at an additional charge if I wanted to schedule it. This strikes me as unprofessional for many reasons, but the fact that it wasn't communicated to begin with and that they were willing to just leave the job like that with a clear flaw doesn't bode well for the longevity of their work. It makes me wonder about the "5 year warranty on labor" that was promised. In addition, they left the side gate open, which let my dogs get loose when they were let into the yard after the work was completed. Combined with a few other sloppy/careless moves, I wouldn't recommend the company.

FAQs for water or fuel tank remove projects in Gig Harbor, WA

There are several reasons why you might need to remove an oil tank. In some areas, local regulations require tanks to be removed after a certain period. Leaking tanks can pose hazards to drinking water and the environment. Plus, many municipalities won't allow property sales until an inspection confirms the oil tank is safe.

One option for disposing of an oil tank is to have your removal pro take it to a dismantling yard or salvage yard for recycling. If a salvage yard isn’t an option, you can contact a local landfill or a local oil tank removal service for help finding a proper disposal location for your tank. Typically, you’ll need to show there’s no sludge or residue in the tank.

A leaking oil tank reveals itself through increased energy bills and a noticeable oily sheen on water surfaces, which signals a malfunction. You may also experience strong oil odors and observe stained grass and deteriorating vegetation near your property. These clear warning signs demand immediate professional evaluation to protect the environment and secure your property’s safety.

Yes, states mandate soil testing during oil tank removal to detect hazardous pollutants that harm the environment. This testing confirms that no soil contamination exists. Certified specialists collect soil samples to meet regulatory requirements and ensure property safety. Conducting these tests protects water quality and the structure’s integrity while immediately triggering any necessary remediation measures.
