"Our sump pump failed and our basement was taking in water. I called them and within 1 hour a plumber was there to help. Frank assessed the situation, gave us a bunch of different options for a solution and explained each in detail, and then let us make the decision. There was no pressure from him on us to make a decision or to sell us on something we didn't need. When all the work was done, he walked me through up keep and maintenance as well as did a quick assessment of other appliances in our house and when we should look at getting them looked at or replaced. Highly Recommended and they are now on my speed dial."

"My experience with Jose L who did the work was great. He was prompt, professional, friendly and helpful. He was patient with my questions and showed clear dedication to delivering a quality experience. I would rate him straight As across the different categories. Scheduling the service was a different story. I'd grade that a C at best, maybe D. After multiple emails and phone calls that were not returned we finally got someone on the phone and scheduled the service, but they still couldn't provide us full information on the estimated cost of a simple repair. On top of that, it was a 6 week wait for someone to come out. We've been happy with Shavitz in the past but this was a bad experience. We're on their maintenance plan so we hope that will mean better service in the future."

"Willy was extremely thorough in troubleshooting potential causes for the lack of heat coming from my heater. He progressively eliminated the thermostat and multiple other components before concluding the heater was having air flow issues and had been repeatedly overheating. He educated me along the way about how to decipher heater status codes, what the heater behavior told him as he was trying different things, what he believed the problem was, and what options I had. He also educated me about filters and suggested I use a more porous filter, despite my allergies. Ultimately, my best option was to replace the heater and air conditioner, given the repeated stress the heater had been under for multiple years, its current performance, the interconnectedness of the heater and air conditioner, and the fact I planned to stay in the condo for years more. Because Willy did such a nice job educating me and helping me understand the implications of each option, I feel good about the decision to replace the units."
