"I purchased a 2 hour/$89 Angie's List deal for Handyman service. I had a scheduling issue at the beginning, but very happy with the work completed. I had a very large headboard Michael attached to the wall, he installed a shower head, he repaired a sliding glass door lock, repaired a hole in my wood floor, and also repaired/patched a drywall corner wall, all within 2 hours. Amazing! Would highly recommend!"

"Paul did some minor drywall repair after we fixed a plumbing leak. He repainted the ceiling and the kitchen. Separately he repainted our front porch including stabilizing a porch post that had some rot at the base. Paul and his crew were polite, efficient, professional, and did excellent work. Everything was thoroughly repaired and prepared rather than just putting a pretty face over it. We were always informed of our options, what would happen, and when. "Our brick ranch house was in need of TLC on the old fiber board siding, which my wife and I have painted four times ourselves. We wanted to make the exterior maintenance free with a good quality vinyl siding. We contacted five separate companies, four of which were listed in Angie’s list, to get estimates. We chose The Home Improvement Co. They were neither the highest nor the lowest estimate. We based our decision on the reviews in Angie’s list, pictures of the work that had been accomplished on other jobs, and Matt’s straight forward honest presentation. Matt convinced us that one of the most important details of this work is an experienced crew that knows how to work with the material. We had chosen the insulated backed vinyl siding. The crew (Kevin and Rueben) and Matt arrived Friday and started the demolition on the west side of the house. We were having all the old siding removed and replaced with new board, moisture barrier, and the vinyl siding. They completed that side including cleanup in one day. The whole job was completed by the following Friday. The crew was great. They were friendly and professional, and they worked well together as a team. They answered any question we had and honored any request we made. They also wrapped all the windows and doors with aluminum coil. They transformed the exterior of our home. We are completely satisfied. We comment to each other every time we pull into the driveway how good our home looks now. We still plan on replacement windows and a new back door. "We heard from a mutual friend that Mike was looking to start up his window restoration & repair business again. They had a good experience with him a few years back. We recently purchased an older home which is not in a historic area, but which by age is "historic". We are looking to make improvements on the exterior before starting on the interior. So we are speaking to various contractors about window, siding and roofing. We want to maintain the character of the house. We have looked at vinyl windows, which would in many ways be a good choice, but they are just not the same as the windows we have, which are original. We asked Mike to come out and look at our windows. After looking at the windows, he showed us briefly what he had found, explained his restoration process and what we could expect. He said our windows restored to "as new" condition. And, with a good warranty. We received an estimate to restore all the windows; and, a separate price to restore those most in need of work. At the moment, we are weighing our options, but Mike was knowledgeable and thorough. We will be doing something w/ him in the Spring, once we have reviewed all out options and decided on a budget."

"Jason Walls was very responsive in coming out and providing a quote to do replacement of exterior trim work on our home.  He was able to start in our timeline with our painters and worked with them on identifying clapboards and other trim that needed replacing.  His expertise and knowledge on materials to use and resources was helpful.  He worked with us on identifying some problem areas and came up with solutions to best solve these areas.  Although during the job more areas were identified for replacement, he always kept us informed as to what extra material was needed and how that would affect his cost and job timeline.  He did a great job of cleaning up each day and at the end of the job.  I would hire him again for any future woodworking needs.
