"Upon changing my AC filter, I saw the ceiling filter hanging from the ceiling. There was a huge hole up into the attic. (I had the ducts replaced about 9 months ago). Air Pros reached out to me as a result of my searching on Angi’s list. I sent him pictures, he responded immediately, told me what I needed and he could send a technician out the next day. His technician built a plenum box for my AC unit inside, looks great. Price was average. Thank you Air Pros. *However, the company that installed the new ducts should have installed the plenum box."

"Carl was amazing! They were able to send someone out the same day and fix the problem. He was honest and upfront about the cost and problems. The service was amazing. Not only was the A/C unit fixed the same day, but he was able to help me replace filters which had not been changed for a while. Would highly recommend!

Patti, was friendly, quick to respond to requests, overall great customer rep for the company...made selecting Pro Star as our provider very easy.  The tech, Robert was friendly, courteous, helpful, conscience and explained in detail what he was going to do before he did it when replacing the RO system.  They didn't as many companies will do try to upsell anything and as any good tech he also viewed our water softener was a very old one (over 17 years old, not even in market any longer) and simply offered a brochure of their systems, highlighting some of the advantages to include their service whenever we might need it.  There was no arm twisting or hard sells involved from either Patti or Robert. 

After review and further discussions, we decided to go with their system, Puronics and added the water softener to the contract.  As I always do, I asked for better pricing and since we were buying both a water softener and RO system...they were more than accommodating, giving us a better deal than I even expected.  A+ in my book.

"Awesome! I call to have my sump pump replace/repaired, I know the old one was not working properly. John looked at it an told me what was needed. Replaced that OLD sump pump cleaned out the trash in the well of the sump pump also. Installed the new one for a good price, he quoted me first before he started the job. I will call him again. Cleaned up behind himself. Good person to hire very professional. Friendly person to do business with. Will hire for my next project, checked it to make sure it worked. "Everything went smoothly up until I had a ceiling leak and we found that the condensation line to the other unit was broken during the installation. It was not carelessness but a poor design by the builder of the home. Anyway, they agreed to fix it and the damage it caused, without any need for me to make a lot of noise. My only complaint was that the repair was long and drawn out taking 4 or 5 visits to complete and the repairman was good but never came on schedule."

"After being quoted a ridiculous price for a part from a much larger well-known repair company, I decided to try a small business to see if the service was better and fairer. So far so good, Marcus came out and diagnosed the problem and my heater is now back to working just fine. Marcus identified that the other company had recommended me replace a part that nothing was wrong with it, and in doing so saved me money. He was professional and knowledgeable and will definitely be sticking with Texas Air Repair."

"I will not be using Tasco again for my air conditioning needs. I recently agreed to have them replace a faulty expansion valve in my relatively new system, which they had installed. The expansion valve was free (a warrantied product). They used 2 lbs. of freon. They also installed a $38 dollar dryer. The two technicians spent a total of 1 hour and 13 minutes to complete the work. The estimate to complete the work was $1200.00. You would think that this company would cut me a better deal for warranty work. Upon completion of the work, I requested an itemized bill. Later that day, the owner stated they do not give out itemized bills and that he charges a flat rate for his services. After arguing wth him for a short time he stated that because I agreed to his estimate there was nothing to argue about. If you charge a flat rate why would there be an estimate? When I started using Tasco, they had an A rating- it is now down to a B. Do yourself a favor and go with a better company that is cheaper. Make sure you get an itemized bill. You can look up the cost of every part online. I never minded paying a premium for good service, but this is ridiculous."

"Prior "tune up" service provider apparently messed up the hvac and then tried to sell me a replacement scenario over $3000 or a new unit for over $4000.  Next Service guy, as above noted, explained all the problems and the disconnected wiring left by the prior folks, and said it could be fixed for around $200, but it cost $410 as indicated above.  I do not think he arbitrarily increased his bill--just found more stuff that needed fixing than originally contemplated, and had to make a second trip out with one of the parts needed.
