"I called CCC around 8:30AM, they were able to have someone come out between 1-3 same day. I immediately said yes! definitely not what I was expecting as my last repair man (not with CCC) took a few week before he could fit me in. The assigned repair man Tommy called me about 12:30 asking me what time would work best for me, I asked him to give me about 30 minutes and he arrived promptly at 1PM. He was great, he listened to my problems told me about a few issues he thinks could be contributing to the continuous freezing, he did a power test to check for leaks (my previous guy never did this, he just checked the levels filled it up and left). Tommy, came back and said there was no leaks he could find but did tighten something in my handler before he started the power test and thinks that is what contributed to the leak since he was basically able to unscrew it with a twist. He filled the Freon back up to the correct amount and that was it. A/C started feeling better within seconds. So thankful for Tommy and CCC. I would highly recommend them. I was by myself when he came over as my husband was at work, and he didn't try to sell me or force any unnecessary repairs on me because I was a female. He took his time and provided the best service."

"This company is absolutely wonderful. The technician was so kind, honest, and helpful. We ended up needing to replace on unit and they were able to schedule us for the very next day. Instead convincing us to replace both units, the technician was very honest and said we could get away with a small and inexpensive repair. Work was done beautifully, and everything works well. We will definitely use them again in the future!

"I was first contacted by Carrie almost as soon as I sent an email to Appliance Repair Services. From then on she did a great job of keeping me updated on the repair. The service person was Jason who did an outstanding job in fixing our microwave oven despite an extremely poor design flaw in our Maytag combination oven/microwave. The problem was not apparent and Jason went out of his way to check every possibility starting with the least expensive. It took a few appointments in which Jason was always on time and was good about calling me ahead of time. Equally important, his charge to fix the appliance was very reasonable and found replacement parts that were better than the manufacturer’s and were less expensive. I will definitely use this company again for any appliance problems we have."

"I’ve known Jacob for a while. I hired him to diagnose a heat pump issue. He did find the problem, but parts were unavailable for my 20 year old system. I had him install a new system and he completed the work on the day he said he would. Jacob is professional and caring. The job was done on time and for the agreed to price. I would highly recommend him to anyone with heating or cooling issues."

FAQs for furnace / forced air heating system service projects in Jacksonville, FL

Most blower motors last 10 to 20 years—the same life span as the furnace or AC they serve. Annual tune-ups keep the bearings clean, the capacitor healthy, and your airflow strong. Call an HVAC pro if you hear grinding, smell burning, or notice weak airflow; catching issues early can save you from a pricier mid-season breakdown.

Plan on two to three hours for a standard swap. Your tech will cut power and gas, pull the old motor, slide in the new one, then test every setting before buttoning up the furnace. Tight quarters or extra part replacements can stretch the visit, but most homeowners are back to comfy airflow well before dinnertime.

Signs of a tired blower motor include weak airflow, unexplained spikes in energy bills, and new sounds—think grinding, rattling, or buzzing—coming from the furnace. If hot or cold air isn’t making it to your favorite chair, schedule an HVAC pro right away; catching the issue early can often mean a quick part swap instead of a full-blown system repair.

There is no difference between an AC and a furnace blower motor. Both systems use the same essential motor to circulate heated or cooled air through your home. This unit fulfills the identical role whether it supports central air conditioning or furnace heating. In some configurations, separate units might be installed for redundancy, yet their operating mechanism remains the same and efficiently delivers comfort throughout your home.
