"So, the burglars got in through a patio slider (my initial thought was that the entire door would have to be replaced). I called Chris on a Monday morning and although he had appointments already scheduled, he said he could be here by noon and he would inspect the frame, “maybe just the glass panel has to be replaced”. He showed up as promised, took a look at the frame and said it looked fine. He gave me a competitive quote to replace the glass panel (dual pane with a Low-E coating) and said he could be back in a few days installation. Chris wasn’t the least expensive quote, but he also was not the most expensive – and he was the only contractor to say that he would replace the mesh on the screen door (great, a time-saver for me!) The morning of the scheduled installation, Chris called and asked if he could come by a little early – I completely understood as temps in the area were supposed to be 112 degrees and I had to get to the office anyway. The install took a little longer than he had planned as another contractor had used double-sided tape to secure the temporary glass and Chris had to ensure that it was completely removed. He made sure the slider and screen locked as they should and he cleaned up the area. Chris asked about the alarm sensor and I told him I had to pick up some tape at the hardware store to re-install it – he says, “no problem, I have some tape – I’ll do it right now”. I found Chris to be honest, willing to go the extra mile, and someone who will treat your home with respect – that’s the guy I want working on my house. Thank you Chris."
