He observed that we had galvanized piping, and getting the house re-piped was on our list of things to do. Legend Plumbing gave us a 'package' bid in which we were given a significant discount on the water heater replacement, plus repairing the shower and re-piping the house and water line leading from the water meter to our house. We had to have the water shut off twice, and they worked with us to accommodate our schedule. When they were scheduled to work they arrived promptly, and cleaned everything up before leaving for the day. We are extremely pleased with the work and will definitely hire Legend Plumbing again."

"Contacted after foundation repair. Inspection found sewer line break under slab, tested and quoted price. Work began following week and continued through the following week due to weather (rain). Project completed, though I'm still awaiting final receipt still after work completion I have their initial receipt and work was done to satisfaction. "We received two estimates. Eloy Medina was recommended by the engineer we asked to come out to see if there was a foundation issue which needed to be repaired. It did not but he recommended Eloy and said to have it accessed from above rather than digging under the house as it was a few inches below the concrete. Eloy's estimate was the best of the two and we choose him since he was recommended by someone we know. The only negative thing I can say is that Eloy doesn't always show up. I had actually scheduled him to come out several months before and he never called to cancel and he didn't show up. We have another sink in the bathroom and the cold water was shut off so the leak was not active. I didn't make an issue of it since he did show up as scheduled when I tried him again several months later. As far as the work goes, he and his worker were knowledgeable and provided the service requested. We also hired him to reinstall the cabinet floors which had to be taken out to put in new plumbing and reinstall the carpet. They taped off the area as best they could to prevent dust from getting into the bedroom. Unfortunately part of the ceiling was pulled off when they removed the masking tape which was holding the plastic up. The drywall was repaired by someone who Eloy knows. The cost was $140 to refloat and paint the ceiling area. Eloy asked and we agreed to pay half ($70). Overall I would use him again because they are good at what they do but Eloy if you're reading this, it would be a good idea to call if you can't keep an appointment. It will make your service A+!"

"Technician stated hot water heater needed to be total replaced due to normal wear and tear. Hot water heater is initially the hot water heater installed in 1999 when home was built. Choice Home Warranty denied the claim after several years of being a loyal customer, making payments on- time every month. What is the use of having this warranty for times as this and when you need them, they denied the claim? Although the service was good, response time adequate, providing the services needed when your appliance break down and being denied repairs was disappointing and devastating, especially when coronavirus is rampant and you really need your hot water to wash clothes, dishes, bath, shower, and remain sanitary. I am so heart broken because I live on a fixed income and am disable, and can’t afford to purchase a hot water heater at this time. They determined that the water heater was not operating properly as a result of a lack of effective maintenance of the unit. What a crock!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
