"We hired Guardian to install our security system at our Washington, DC, business. The service and quality of the work was horrible. We had cameras and an alarm system installed; it was a relatively large system. They outsource most of the work to various vendors. They could not manage their vendors; what was supposed to take a week took two months. The sales rep did not return calls, and you could never get anyone in management on the phone. Random people would show up at unannounced times. The few things that an actual Guardian employee did were they made a huge mess of our newly remodeled office and were rude to our staff. We have offices in five markets across the US and have high security at each; we have never had such a poor experience."

"Very unsatisfied when calling for service it went to answering service, was told someone would call back shortly, after 2 hours I called back, got the answering service, was told someone would call back and did get a call 20 minutes later. Told them I was having problems with water heater only having warm water. Water heater was 12 years old and serviceman said lower element burned out and expansion tank was not working. Quoted $2000 to repair. Didn't know how long heater would last and suggested new one. I agreed. Water runs through geothermal furnace. Took about 5 hours to change out because he had to wait for someone to bring new heater. He forgot to close something before turning water back on and got water on the floor. 2 days later I went to basement to get serial number from heater and there was water all over the floor. No reason to touch geothermal unit. Drain from humidifier was disconnected. Took couple of days to talk to anyone from company. "

"They tried flat out to scam us.The only thing they were interested in is ways they could steal money by nice sales and if the problem didn't make them enough money they would make it so it did or try to anyway in our case. They arrived the guy was a real snake trying to sweet talk a senior lady so she would spend money. First up it was a service type warranty of some kind for future repairs on our system it was under fifty bucks if I remember correctly we felt pressured somewhat but ok we purchased or gave the money away. Then on to the furnace we were told we needed a new furnace but the service guy was so talented he could fix our furnace that day but it was in such bad shape according to him it would only last a month he said so now he wanted to get the office rolling on our new furnace. He did get heat going again we declined his new furnace and immediately started getting calls from their office politely keeping in touch. The furnace did break again about a month later just as planned or just as we were told only this time we called someone we knew who had been away previously who was a honest repairman. He did us no special favors he simply honestly fixed our furnace and told us our furnace didn't need replacing it was fine. His repair and parts bill came to $180.00 a lot cheaper than a new unit and today over 7years later the same furnace production wanted us to replace is still working fine and has not had any new issues so far. I would never trust production again they are long gone from our family's life. Anytime we see one of their trucks we always remember this and feel sorry for the poor person they suckered that day."
