"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"After a thorough review of our system by another company, I received an estimate from them to replace two bad capacitors and a contactor in our heat pump. The total was over $700, so I declined the repair service. I looked up the pricing on the parts and bought two of them for less than $50. I then called Mike's Heating and Cooling and spoke with Josh who gave me a price of $50 for the third part I needed and $85 to install all three. Less than 48 hours later, the technician DJ had them installed and our system is now working great. In the end I spent less than $200 for everything, which was significantly less expensive than going with the original Aire Serve bid. I am very happy with Mike's Heating and Cooling and plan to use them in the future."

"The leaks in the system were repaired by putting a clear putty-like sealant over the leaks.  They responded to my initial request quickly.  While they were here there was a mildew/mold issue discovered.  The promise to help eliminate the mildew/mold area has yet to be fulfilled.  I will continue to use this company for warranty repairs but would hesitantly recommend them to a friend.

"Mike and Crystal were very professional from the first phone contact through the completion of the work. They showed up on time, their work was neat and they worked very efficiently. My windows were in pretty bad shape. They really took their time and prepped them very well which showed in the finished product. When asked to redo or touch up anything it was done without question. In the end we received a very good paint job on a timely basis and at a competitive price. I have already recommended Mike's Painting to others in my neighborhood and would use him again for future painting needs.

"We had a bad experience with a company whose heating and air guy told us that we needed either a $3000 repair, a better $5000 repair, or a new system for $7800! Everything seemed to be working fine. I just had a gut feeling that he was being dishonest, so I decided to get another opinion. I found Doug Peery with Mills River Mechanical online and chose him because of the excellent reviews. He is AMAZING! He found absolutely nothing wrong with our heat and air system and even cleaned the coil on the outdoor air unit. He was great with calling and texting, came at a convenient time for us, put our furnace back together- the other guy had left it apart with screws on the floor- and was friendly and honest. The guy he brought with him was just as smart, professional, and friendly as Doug! I can't recommend him highly enough for mechanical issues in the home. THANKS DOUG!"

"CHW was very responsive to our urgent need! We filed a claim the evening prior when we notices our A/C was blowing warm air into the rooms. Then by 8AM the next day, we had a call from the service technician saying he was on his way to address the issue! CHW worked with the technician to find out the compressor was the culprit and approved it's repair! Great customer service for a family in need during the hot south central Texas summer!"
