"All employees were very professional. Work was performed in a timely fashion. Installer pointed out a defect in one panel of the door. Replacement panel was installed yesterday. "Windows were good and in stalled was fine ,then business was sold and new owner was not responsive to a problem that arose with one window. A part broke and the new owner came out and said he would order the part. He set up an appointment for two weeks ahead at 12:00. He never showed. I called the guy 3 different times and he did not return calls. I called the past owner who got the pats for me but, I had to hire a third party to do the repair . The third party is on vacation and will do the work when he returns. The windows cost $2700.00. I expected better service then this. This is an update to my august review. After the previous review I received call from the owners assistant , she wanted to help correct the previous problem I had concerning a repair. The owner wanted to come out and correct the problem He came out ,got the parts that he needed and repaired the window . Any problem we had in the past has been corrected."

"Had Stanek windows and patio door installed approx. 15 years ago. Patio door was getting a little difficult to slide open and close. Called Stanek, they sent technician, Cory, out and within 30 minutes he had door operating good as new. Our Stanek windows are great and good as new."

The crew arrived at the time specified and completed the tear-off and installation expeditiously. Were very professional and clean. Ensured that none of plants and landscaping was harmed. Cleaned up after work very well. Salesman checked back couple of days later to make surethat work was satisfactory and took care of one small item that wasn't quite right.

I also qualified for a rebate from Columbia Gas. Jerry helped guide me with questions concerning the rebate process.
If your roof has wide eaves like I have, Jerry doesn't make holes in your walls that you will have to repair. He blows the insulation into the wall from above. They put a tube all the way down between the wall studs and begin filling and compacting from the bottom. This may not be possible in newer homes that were built with fire breaks in the walls.
Under the windows they did have to drill through the mortar in the brick wall to get a hose in, and the way they patch that up it isn't noticeable at all.
The crew are polite and friendly and hardworking.
I've monitored my energy usage via my programmable thermostat and I'm running the furnace 40% less than before the work that Jerry did.
I'm a happy camper. I can't say anything bad about A & J.
