"Yelpers are finicky. Pacific Heating and Cooling did a great job for my wife and I. We had them do a duct cleaning several months ago and they were top shelf. Booties on while in the house and great care taken to take care of our stuff. As a result we decided to have a consult on adding AC. Greg Jackson came out and went over current system, crawled under the house to inspect ducting and somehow came back in the house clean and wearing booties to go over our options. After a thorough review of what we had, asking about our goals and what we were most concerned with he developed three proposals. No pressure, no "today only" pricing, just a conversation. We chose to replace our okay furnace with an upgraded 96% efficiency furnace and added AC to our 1500 sq foot home. The price was about what I was expecting and they were able to begin installation the following week. Josh, Zach, Chance and Sean were all friendly, efficient, caring and concerned about doing a great job. They cleaned up constantly, kept us informed when having to turn off power let us know. "G&S did an excellent job installing our new furnace and AC unit. The best thing about G&S is that they warranty for 1 year. The circuit board in our furnace failed within a couple of months (no fault of G&S). Manufacturers warranty would cover the parts cost but G&S repaired and covered labor cost under their warranty. Also they diagnosed the issue and repaired very quickly. Definitely A++ installation and service."

"Seatown did mostly a good job I suppose installing a new gas burning high efficiency furnace. When the salesperson was providing their initial consultation, they pointed out that our existing thermostat would have to be replaced and the 3-wire thermostat wire would need to be upgraded to 8-wire for the high efficiency furnace. They were going to charge me some exorbitant fee to pull the new wire through 5 feet of wall. When I questioned it, they knocked it down to $500. I told them I'd buy new wire and pull it through myself before they showed up. Needless to say I was pleased to find out that the technician only used 3 of the wires anyway so that attempted overcharge would have been for nothing? Also the technician very cleverly did NOT place the new thermostat on the wall such that it covered up the old hole in the wall so I had to move it after they left. I can't say I was too happy with the furnace exhaust pipe. First, they placed the exhaust pipe above our gas meter but the inspector didn't flag it so I guess there's no issue. Also they used non-paintable caulk to seal the exhaust pipe so that painting it to blend in with the siding was a bit of a problem. They also didn't provide any sort of screen for the exhaust pipe to keep animals from crawling in it. When I questioned that they said that the carbon monoxide would kill them. So their solution is to have a dead animal in our furnace exhaust? Not to mention that doesn't really work in the summer when the furnace isn't running. Other than those rookie mistakes I noticed, I'm sure everything else was done properly?"

"StarDuct Pros were referred to me by my coworker. I was in desperate need to have my crawl space cleaned after unwanted guest (mice) decided to take shelter under my home and made it smell terrible. Simon, came and did a thorough clean up of the crawl space, and replaced the vapor barrier ( the plastic cover) which was left dirty by my unwanted guest. "We have been using this shop for many years, we are on our 3rd Volvo and they are the best around.  The people are super friendly, professional and highly competent.  The shop is very well run, it is clean and they always give you a quote up front and stick to it, if at all possible.  For our older Volvo they would look for less expensive parts but still fix the issue.  Years ago they replaced and engine for our 1990 wagon that ran for another 100K miles. 

We have moved and it is less convenient to take our cars there, but we continue to do so because they are worth the effort."

"William was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions in terms I was able to understand. He showed me areas of old, damaged ductwork that clearly needed replacing. He took pictures, and noticed my furnace had a cracked heat exchanger and recommending replacing since carbon monoxide may enter the building and he showed them to me and he worked out a plan and made sure he was able to replace damaged ductwork, install a new gas furnace and even add an additional vent in the biggest room in my home. They were very careful to cover their shoes with booties, thank you Home Squad!"

"It was an AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL experience!!!! We were re-plumbing our 1918 home, and when we got to the connection from the house plumbing to the outside line to the City Water Meter...the galvanized pipe just crumbled in our hands- it didn't even look like a pipe- it looked more like a large lump of ore...We called many plumbers for estimates, and they were all awful- twice the price and couldn't start for 3-4 days..or weeks...(we had no water at that point..), said it would take 2-3 more days to finish...Many plumbers I called were unable or unwilling to use a mole- and wanted to dig up the entire front yard (I had explained that there was a 3 foot high retaining wall, and extensive landscaping in that area, but they just wanted to spend days digging it all up). Evan Conklin returned our call immediately, was there the NEXT day ON TIME! The crew helped us to carefully tie up the landscape plants (many were 28- 90 years old..). They were SO careful with the plants, even tied them up to a place that meant they had to duck under the rope repeatedly to complete the job, but they wanted the plants taken care of!!! They cleanly ran the mole under ground to the pipe site, connected the new pipe, and were done in less than 2 hours. They cleaned up beautifully, and everything worked like a charm. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

In addition, just to express our thanks, and indicate the quality of character and caring of the workers, while we were waiting for the drilling truck to arrive, a speeding car flew down our street and killed our neighbor's cat, never stopping. The workers ran out into the street so upset, crying and quot;Why did this happen?and quot; and quot;This is not supposed to happen!and quot;...I got a bedsheet, and the workers so carefully and gently wrapped up the cat as I went to bear the bad news to my neighbor. When she came out to see her cat, they very gently and respectfully undid just the tail end so she could confirm his identity without viewing the gruesome damage. Their caring attitude did much to ease the suffering. I am so grateful for their kindness."
