"We needed a whole new A/C unit. We called 5 other companies for quotes. Advanced Air was the cheapest and we as if he had a lot of knowledge so we hired him. He came a little later then scheduled - but he called to warn us that there was an urgent job that made him off schedule. He worked diligently until the job was done - it took longer then he orginally expected and he had to fabricate a piece to so it would fit with our older furnace. He did the extra work and fabrication without extra charges (including labor costs). He was very honest and hard working and we will calling him again when our furnace stops working.

"Choice was fast, efficient, and kept me posted on the progress of the claim. Although the water leak issue was discovered on a Friday, they had a plumber there to investigate by Saturday morning. When it was determined that the 20+ year old heater needed to be replaced, the replacement ordered, on-site, and installed by Wednesday morning. I am glad that we opted for the Choice Ultimate plan as other than the initial $65 service fee, all but one $50 ancillary expense was covered."

These guys came out and were on time and very professional. They did a full diagnostic on my AC unit and they cleaned it up to the point where it looks like I have a completely new AC unit. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
