"Dan came first thing this morning and found our air conditioner capacitor needed to be replaced. He informed me it was still under warranty and he needed to go get a replacement. He was back with a new capacitor very quickly and had it repaired in a matter of minutes. I was pleasantly surprised there was not even a service or labor charge. We have used this company for almost 10 years now, and their work has always been top-notch. Dan and Zac are the very best technicians with whom we've ever dealt. Besides their most excellent service, I have never dealt with any service related company who has higher standards. Their extreme honesty and work ethic are beyond compare. Every person with whom we've dealt or spoken in the company are friendly, courteous and professional. They are truly the best in the business!!!!"

"Prior to calling Bob, we had several guys come in to give us estimates. Bob's estimate was by far the best and the work he did was top quality. He and his guys moved my existing furnace to a new location int he basement and installed a new AC. They also moved the hot water heater. I am very pleased with his service. They were prefessional and respectful. Bob is a straight shooter. Absolutely no BS! I will be using him for ALL of my future HVAC needs. I HIGHLY recommend you call him and have him come give you an estimate if you need service, repair or replacement.

"Our central air conditioner stopped running, and I called Sharp-Long because they had originally installed the system and had periodically provided maintenance on it in the past. The owner, J.C. Crossley, went out of his way to send a service employee to look at the problem within an hour (it was at the end of the day).  The employee, who was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, determined that the coolant had all leaked out, re-charged the system with recycled coolant for free and ran tests preliminary to determining whether we could claim a utility rebate when we replaced the system.  I was extremely grateful for the courtesy extended by Mr. Crossley and strongly considered his bid for replacement, but in the end we did select another bidder. I offered to pay Mr. Crossley for the service call, but he declined the offer.

"While having my siding removed and replaced, decided to insulate the exterior walls. They coordinated with the painter and checked the weather for when the project could be done. Also, the estimate was given several months in advance and was still honored once the project got going. They needed to come out twice to install the insulation because the siding took time to come off the house, but they were more than willing to work with the painter's schedule to make sure things got done in a timely fashion. Friendly folks who take time to answer questions and did excellent work getting the house insulated and now operating efficiently."

"Tap Heating and Cooling came while I was at work and my wife was home taking care of our newborn.  The technician, Jeff, was very polite and very quiet as well (as we had a newborn sleeping) which I found to be amazingly courteous.  He performed the cleaning and inspection of our furnace very quickly and efficiently.  When Jeff was finished, he let my wife know the the circuit board was mounted improperly, but that he went ahead and took care of it as it was a very simple fix.  As well, a filter was included in this service.  I had recently replaced our filter (not realizing I was going to take advantage of this awesome Angie's List deal) and he let my wife know that the filter was still good and that he left a new one next to the furnace for next time.  We recently moved here, but Tap Heating and Cooling is for sure my go-to in the area from now on as they showed nothing but professionalism, honesty, and courteousness while in my home.  Thanks Jeff and Tap Heating and Cooling, I'll see you in summer for my A/C tune up!

The appointment for the day was set very efficiently. The crew was on time on move day. The crew was extremely polite and mindful throughout the day. "It was not a quick process because of the water damage and waiting on the cabinets we picked out to ship but overall it was a great experience. Brian, Carlos & Joe were the main workers we had at the house - they were respectable, polite, and very informative - making sure we understood each step of the process. Brian started with the dirty work of removing the water damage, repairing drywall, replacing subfloors, installing laminate plank flooring, adding can lights, and fixing our lose electrical boxes. The cabinets we picked had to be assembled which took a day of work and then Carlos stepped in to complete the cabinets, build our countertops, install baseboards, add hardware, and basically put everything in place. Joe did an amazing job on our tile, AMAZING! We picked a hand sculpted glass tile that was a bit more tedious than we expected but Joe worked his magic and really made the kitchen, the tile is everything I hoped it would be and more - it's the focal point and looks fabulous. Brian helped to finish up the plumbing to get us back in business and Carlos has been worked to wrap up the little details and honey do list of things that needed completed to give our kitchen the finished touch. Everything turned out so well - we did not replace a set of upper cabinets to open the space more and added in a pantry - both Doug's ideas, we are so glad we listened because it changed the whole dynamic of our home. We also went with another of Doug's ideas and added in a breakfast bar which we are loving.
Doug was on top of the project the whole time, keeping us updated and checking in nearly daily. We liked that he let his workers be in charge of the day to day activity though, it made things flow well and allowed us the ability to schedule the next steps with them directly, which worked well with our schedule. Not having done anything like this before was scary but we felt confident in Doug and trusted his word and he proved that he knows what he is doing!
The only real issue we had was with 2 contractors who said they came to our home to work but never showed up, that was an extremely frustrating situation and we thought it would set us back even farther in the time line but Doug stepped up and sent others out right away. It was a frustrating situation for him too but he made it right and got things rolling in the midst of it all. We were very appreciative of his extra effort, especially in a situation that was out of his control. 
We have recommended Leawood Kitchen and Bath to many already and will continue to do so - we will also be using them again in the future as we do more home upgrades. The pricing was fair and below cost for the other estimates we got and the work is quality! Doug's honesty and ideas were a breath of fresh air for us in our messy kitchen, which is now our favorite room in the house!!!"

"Dave replaced my old AC unit and evaporator with a brand-spanking, new one. My wife and I were very happy with the final product and the investment we made. Dave installed a concrete pad for the new, larger unit and built and installed an iron cage to protect it from any potential theft. Also, Dave was very good about working around our busy schedule. Dave would be the first person we call if we need additional work around the house."
