"We are extremely pleased with our new Trex decks installed by George Hunt. He is a Trex and deck expert. George understood the importance of making sure that the necessary prep and foundational work was done before the deck was installed; he was able to recommend excellent contractors for the other projects. George and his team have very high ethical standards. We also appreciate that George was always present and working alongside his employees."

"I wanted to add to my review for the replacement of our old dilapidated wood deck. Andrew replaced it with a Timber Tech deck and railing system. The color is so beautiful, it is called French white oak. He worked with us on the layout and design. He added a set of stairs with a cement slab at the base of the stairs. He even painted the frame of our deck to match the timber tech color and the new porch supports. We get a lot of compliments from our neighbors on the deck."

"Called Greg and he came out a couple of days later and gave me an estimate. I asked if he could finish the job by a certain date as I was going on vacation. Greg said that this would not be a problem. I called Greg and hired him to do the work a couple days later. About a week passed and Greg said he would be starting Friday morning. Friday morning at 8AM the crew was here working diligently. The crew removed an existing paver patio; prepped and formed the patio to my specification; installed the aggregate; then poured 5 yards of concrete in 1 day. My 80-foot driveway is newly paved. They used a bobcat to transfer the concrete from the street to the back of my house. They made 10-15 trips and not a single drop of concrete on my driveway! Greg stopped in Friday late afternoon to check in on the crew and my satisfaction. The crew returned Monday (they were going to work Saturday but we had storms all weekend). The crew fixed the yard where the bobcat tore up the sod. They used a great grade of top soil, seeded and covered with mushroom mulch. What a fantastic job. The crew was friendly, attentive, detail oriented and focused on getting the job done. If you need work done, do not bother calling anybody else."

"Initially, I was pleased with the work done...the wait was minimal for them to put me on the schedule. The porch was power washed, repaired, resurfaced and sealed exactly as quoted. They cleaned up nicely too. And the results were like a brand new front step without any evidence that repairs were done. I've had a couple of issues since the work has been done...but the company has been very responsive to my issues. This last time the supervisor personally came and fixed the issues himself. Overall, I am pleased with the repairs to my front porch, and know if there are future issues, they will be resolved."

"I originally bought Big Deal for $249.  I paid extra for railings and for a higher quality stain.  The crew did great work.  The deck looks new again."

"Mark was great. He and his team stayed in contact with me and help me do everything I needed to do in time to make settlement. Mark is very friendly and knowledgable. He is available day and night if I had any questions or concerns. Everything went well. I will recommend mark to anyone, he made what I heard would be a long frustrating time go quick and smooth. Thanks again mark

"Our old house on the Northside of Pittsburgh was in need of an exterior facelift and a new front porch to replace the one that had collapsed. I met with Dave LaBovick of Exceptional Exteriors and we agreed upon a price, which my wife and I found quite reasonable. The work on the vinyl siding began about a week later and took only a half a day to wrap up. The job was done to our complete satisfaction, The before and after is like night and day. Another crew arrived a few days later to do the porch and sidewalk. They began work on a Thursday afternoon and were finished 24 hours later. Once again, we are very happy with the result. In both cases, they removed all debris and left-over building materials associated with the job. We are not only completely satisfied with the work that Exceptional Exteriors did for us, we are looking forward to hiring them again for our next home project."

"They were highly personable, professional, quick, and they did a very neat and clean job. I would recommend them without reservation if you need a basic wooden fence that is well built and nicely installed. Every part of the experience was actually pleasant....so rare!"

"Steve was thorough in his discussions about the project. I'm usually pretty detailed about projects and think things through. Steve would bring things up that I hadn't thought of and my wife and I appreciated the time he took. He also considered that there were several options for our design to choose from and he walked us through the pros and cons. For example, the way that lights would be spaced on our wall between windows and doors was not technically even, but looked good given the spacing of those openings. Also, he showed us a couple of options for the size and spacing of slats for our roof vent so we could preview it before it was created.
Steve does not run a big company, so you get really personalized service. He is part of the projects as they happen. This also means that his availability to do projects varies. But, he is proactive about his availability and once he starts a job he and his team are on-site until it's finished.
This was our second or third project with him. At the beginning, he installed a sliding door and a pair of doors with sidelights that open onto our patio. These were installed about five years ago and we love them. In fact, he has done almost all the outside work on our house over the last five years, including unanticipated problem areas. Would highly recommend Steve for a job."

"M K Scaff was fantastic to work with. They arrived on the agreed upon date and time. Job site was clean and installation flawless. Highly recommend M K Scaff remodeling."
