"I called Steve and he came that day and gave me a a very reasonable estimate .  He was professional and courteous and explained that he could  do the job the next day ,which he did.   He removed all the bags,cardboard boxes  and furniture and even took apart an old clothes rack which  was too big to fit through the cellar door.   Steve did an great job and and was very pleasant to work with. "Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. "THEY WERE THERE ON TIME AND TOOK A TOUR OF THE HOUSE TO CHECK LAY OUT AND COUNT THE VENTS. WE HAD MORE THEN THE DEAL ALLOWED SO THE PRICE WENT UP FROM 89.00 TO AN ADDITIONAL 230.00 DOLLARS. THEY HAD SOME EQUIPMENT ISSUES,  THEY WERE NOT REALLY SET UP TO REACH SOME OF THE VENTS IN OUR HOUSE. THEY ALSO WERE IN NEED OF A NEW BRUSH, THE ONE THEY USED WAS PRETTY WORN.
ON THE UP SIDE THEY WERE FRIENDLY AND WORKED STEADY GOING FROM ROOM TO ROOM IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER. I FELT THE PRICE WAS A BIT HIGH TO ADD FOUR MORE VENTS AND A RETURN, THE WORK WAS COMPLETED AND I HOPE THAT WE DON'T REQUIRE THIS SERVICE AFTER MOVING INTO OUR NEW HOME.

"Good all in all.  They were busy so took a bit longer to get the job started along with weather delays.  They cleaned up each day.  I wanted to keep costs low while replacing what needed to be vs. completely removing everything and starting from scratch.  I also did the painting and caulking etc. to save.  This worked out great and there was only one surprise that required some additional support installed."

"I have had very good experiences with them so far. They're very responsive. They've been to the house a couple of time to meet with us. We also email back and forth. They're pretty conversive and pretty responsive when we have a question or when they need something. We're happy with them so far. They listened to what we were asking them for. We got quotes from other companies and theirs was the best. When I pointed out there were some things missing from the quote, they said okay right away and went back and fixed it and came back and adjusted the quote. That's important. It's not a huge project, but there's a lot of little things that need to get addressed. Their attention to detail is what we appreciate, that they were able to care about what we were concerned about. They addressed those concerns."

"They actually cut (very neat) holes in the basement furnace runs to reach up with chimney-sweep type cleaners and powerful vacuums. They also went down every register and cold air return in the house doing the same. What impressed me was that two these guys went way beyond what any technician from my furnace company (who I'd had an annual clean / inspect contract with for years ever did.) I had reported to my contracted techs that my blower fan was making a strained sickly noise for a couple years. They told me just to wait until it died and it would have to be replaced for ~$1,200. They also had told me that my 'state-of-the-art'(20 years ago) Lennox furnace would probably need to be replaced soon. The guys from Affordable Restoration,LLC took out the blower motor, showed me all the dust and dog hair and estimated that is was 90% occluded which was straining my blower motor, plus all the air to my house was coming through all that dust. They then cleaned and lubed the fan as well as an area of similar debris around a/c condenser unit within the furnace.  This clearly had never been done by my service contractors which I find despicable as clearly in their best interest not mine. Yes, the very neat holes were then very neatly patched but will remain easily accessible for future cleanings.The whole process took ~ 4.5 hours and did cost me way over what the cost of the coupon that drew me in, but I also feel that the maintenance they ended up doing saved me a new blower fan (and extended the life of my furnace) as my newly refurbished fan is now purring happily and quietly.  The guys also installed an ultra-violet light system (as used for sanitizing in hospitals). I would've never thought about doing this, but with our allergy sufferers and knowing how devastating a systemic mold problem would be I decided it was worth the ~$500. They also offered a good 'preventative package':  they will come back every 2 years to replace the ultra-violet light bulbs and do the same cleaning for $300. It's too soon to say how much this will help with allergies but to see the amount of dusty debris that is no longer in our system is a relief to me.
