"I can’t say enough about Everguard Insulation. I live in a two story, 2200 sqft home, built in 1986, which over the past 13 years of ownership has proven to be very poorly insulated. With recent summers getting hotter and hotter, and winters feeling colder and colder, I knew I had to do something. Whole house fan, Check. New double pane windows, Check. Finally, AC, Check. Still, even with all that, hot in summer, cold in winter. I reached out to a number of insulation companies, but was not happy with the responses from any of them, until I found Everguard. I explained my situation, and they suggested two options; 1) Clad the inside of my roof with a radiant barrier, and/or 2) Increase my attic blown insulation from the present 3” depth to 13” depth. Since I already had solar panels on my roof, acting as deflectors of direct heat, I chose to go with the 13” of insulation. It is important to note that I reached out to Everguard in the spring of 2022, and didn’t finally arrange for the work until the fall. Another company might have hounded me for the sale. Everguard just made a few courtesy calls during a 6 month span, just to see if I was still interested. I appreciate that. I can’t stand pushy salesmen. When it came time for the installation, a crew of two arrived and worked quickly, cleanly, and efficiently, completing the entire job in just over one hour. I can truly say it was the right choice since the house stays warmer on cold nights, and cooler on warm days. Everguard Insulation. The right company, the right price, and excellent work and results. "It went excellently! Cynthia was my contact and she responded quickly to every question I posed; and I posed many. One thing I was particularly concerned about was whether Everguard Insulation filled in the holes that would be created on the outside of my home's walls (2 holes of about 2" in diameter every 16" which would mean over 100 for my 1360 square foot home) or if they would just put a Styrofoam plug in the holes. If they just put a plug in the holes, which wouldn't be air tight, protect against varmint or bug invasion, and would not have a stucco covering, then I would have to pay a separate company to do that (one company said they would charge me $15 per hole!). Cynthia assured me that they would fill in each hole and try to match it to the texture of the existing stucco, and each would dry and be air tight and secure. And they were! Two men came out and completed the entire house in one day, and they did a wonderful job! Where my water heater was, they drilled holes in the wall from the inside since that wall couldn't be accessed from the outside--and then filled and patched those holes too (at my request). When they were done, the patches looked good, and they cleaned up after themselves so that you wouldn't know they'd be there! Cynthia did say that the holes would dry in a day and then I would need my painters to come out and paint a good, thick primer over the holes, which I had already scheduled. I was VERY HAPPY with the work of the Everguard crew! I am going to have them do my attic insulation next, and I know they will do a fantastic job!"

"I did hours of research on HVAC systems to educate myself on what system would provide the best cost efficiency, reliability and the the proper methods of engineering a system. I received at least six bids ranging from 6K-20K. Here is what I learned, the system needs to be properly matched and engineered correctly to reach maximum efficiency, most HVAC companies have the owner in the office, sales people in the field and techs to install. It can be very confusing to sort through the bids since each system needs to be configured with up to three different components with different functions. Be careful of the lower bids which may include "builders models" from a name brand company. These units are used in large multi home/condo installs and I question their long term reliability (IMO). Anyway, although Brian was not the lowest bid, he was the owner and the one to install and provided ongoing service. He took the time to educate me on the importance of proper engineering especially with the duct work. His bid included duct testing and permit costs. He uses Bryant. He spent approximately a week (somewhat longer than the other bids, but took his time to install to exact manufacture specifications! After spending twelve years without A/C, I finally am enjoying the comfort and quiet of central air! Brian is thorough, does not take short cuts and I am fully satisfied with his company, the work he performed and my new cool home. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking to install or upgrade their system."

"Very well. We competed three or four companies to help with a partial remodel, and were most comfortable with Progressive. One of our windows was a non-standard size with an arched top which had to be special ordered. The job was not without challenges, but Progressive was very responsive and focused on customer satisfaction. Of particular note, when they replaced our slider which leads to a balcony, they took out our old slider and identified an issue with the water proofing that would cause long-term issues. They stopped their install so our general could remove tile on deck and modify pan before they installed the door. They could have just installed the door and not had to make a second trip back after the general contractor's rework to complete the slider install. We likely wouldn't have realized the problem for 4 or 5 years, but they did the right thing and paused so we could get an underlying issue resolved. I don't think you see that kind of integrity with a lot of contractors, but you do with Progressive."

"Jack Mair of the company was excellent. Everything was upfront, honest, done on the proper timeline (especially as Jack advised, we order the materials on time with the subs his company recommends) and the work product was excellent. We have several more projects to our 50 year old home which need done. I will ONLY hire Jack, his company AHI, and subs he recommended. Cost wise, in todays society, would be considered a bit more than fly by night construction companies. My mantra is don’t be cheap with what you eat, how you sleep (bed and mattress) or what you put on your feet ( cheap shoes are NO good)…my new mantra is “I’ve got a better chance of ‘fixing’ the World Series” than anything in my home. so when it comes to home projects I shall hire Jack and AHI because they might actually be able to ‘fix’ the World Series."
