"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"Went great! After contacting two other Angie's list "recommended" businesses, who either never showed up after making appt, or called back, I gave it one more shot. I called JSC Handyman. They were very busy, but seemed to be as concerned I was about the fence falling over, and worked us in. They set a time for 9am Wednesday, and they showed up just before. I also got a call in advance letting me know they were on their way. THIS IS HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO WORK (to all you service providers!). They did a bang-up, quality job. Would definitely recommend and use again."

"I was having trouble with my 20+ year old gas furnace "short cycling": the furnace would come on for a short period (1-1.5 minutes) then shut off. My house was not reaching the desired temperature due to this problem. James determined that it was a fan limiting switch that had gone bad and replaced it. This required a trip to the parts house which James was glad to make. Although the furnace was working properly at that point, James was not satisfied with it behavior and literally climbed half way into the furnace cabinet to look for additional problems. After blowing out the interior of the unit, the furnace was working fine and has been ever since. This should have been a relatively quick fix which James could have done and been on his way, but he took the extra time to make the unit functioned CORRECTLY and not just good enough to get by. The furnace is a 1989 model, and needs to be replaced. I appreciate that James took the time to work on what many service people would consider a lost cause, and not worth repairing. The cost of the repair was fair. I will definitely consider Tulley's when I finally replace the furnace."

"It went so much better than expected. Over the phone, other plumbing companies quoted us $1,000 - $1,500 to do the work and replace the valve. When I talked with Seth, on the phone, he offered to come over within a couple of hours, ON A SUNDAY!, and take a look at the problem. Upon arrival he assessed the situation and determined only the center piece of the valve needed to be replaced. There would be no reason to replace the entire valve, tear up the wall/tiles to do the work. He had to access the crawl space (the entire length of the house!) to get to the water shut off valve...and did this 3 times in freezing weather! He was in and out of our house, with the valve fixed and fixture replaced within 1 hour! And he didn't charge us an additional fee for coming out on a Sunday! Seth was very professional, but a down to earth guy. I would recommend him and Driggs Plumbing, in a heartbeat!!"

My wife contacted Superior Water and Air at Costco.  Their representative was incredibly friendly and helpful.  He came to our home, tested our water, and provided great advice on their systems and service.  I had full confidence that had we used their services we would have had a terrific experience.  Their units are rather expensive, but come with top notch warranties and have surprisingly easy to use features, such as a simple filter change system for the RO unit, that appeared far superior to what we had in our former house.

As it turned out, a family member became available to help us with installing our water softener and RO unit, thus saving us hundreds of dollars, so we chose not to use the services of Superior Water & Air.  However, if we do need such service in the future I would be comfortable going with them.

"Choice was fast, efficient, and kept me posted on the progress of the claim. Although the water leak issue was discovered on a Friday, they had a plumber there to investigate by Saturday morning. When it was determined that the 20+ year old heater needed to be replaced, the replacement ordered, on-site, and installed by Wednesday morning. "It was perfectly done, with high professionalism. Even though it was a Saturday afternoon when I first contacted him, he came that same evening. He checked the issues and was able to give us two different quotes right away, one with full replacement of the unit, and one with replacement of the motor. He came back on Monday with the new motor, and now we have cold air. He was very polite, very honest, very understanding of our needs. We will definitely contact him when we can afford a new unit. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
