"We had a great result using them.  I originally called because of an issue in a room with a bay window - it was very cold in the window, as though they didn't insulate properly underneath.  They offered to come in and do the energy audit.  Their recommendations were reasonable, and included a fix for the bay window insulation issue.  There was no "hard sell".  Their estimated savings for implementing the improvements were $1700 / year.  We had the option to finance and roll the costs into our PSEG LI bill, or pay up front (and get a small additional discount).

I originally purchased the deal they offered through Angie's List for $75, but was informed by Green Audit that the audit can be done for free provided by funding through PSEG so Green Audit refunded the $75 and there was no charge for the audit. Matt and Richard performed the audit. I thought they were very professional and provided a lot of useful information. After the completion of the audit they provided me with an estimate for recommended efficiency work and a ROI summary of what the work could save me in money over time. The estimate they provided was extensive and included a lot of items for energy efficiency, some of which you would not get from a typical insulation company, I thought their pricing was a bit on the high side and I decided not to use them."

"Joe Ryan, the salesman, was very knowledgeable and helped us choose the best boiler and hot water heater for our home.  From our first meeting with him through the installation, he was always very accessible and set our expectations about next steps and timing.
The Powersmith crew (Sean, Bobby, and Brian) showed up when promised.  At all points during the two-day job, they were patient and happy to answer questions.  Further, they were happy to accommodate requests of mine regarding the cosmetic nature of the job that may have seemed trivial, but which were important to me.

"I am selling my home in Westchester NY and during the inspection process, it was discovered that there was mold in my attic. Obviously it needed to be removed at my expense. I initially called another company, one of those national franchise type remediation companies and I absolutely flipped out at their estimate and the scope of work they were proposing. A week in my house, we couldn't' sleep in our bedrooms etc. Thankfully my realtor remembered that she had worked with Frank, who is one of the owners of Eco Green Solutions, on another job.
