"Continental's technicians were highly experienced, professional, considerate, respectful, hard working, and neat.  They arrived on-time when scheduled.  Allied's drilling and trenching crews were excellent also.  This was a big messy job that took about a week and we are very happy with the work that they did.  The owner of Continental, Frank Jackson, sold us the system.  He provided an extensive reference list that went back at least 15 years.  He was on-site for most of the job providing hands-on supervision of his technicians.  His technicians are so experienced that he didn't have to be there to supervise them.  Rather, I believe he was there to make sure that the job was finished on time because they are so busy.  Allied had an on-site supervisor at the start of the drilling process to finalize the location of the loop bores, but their drilling crew was highly experienced and needed no supervision.
Installing geothermal is a messy job.  The vertical bores and horizontal trenching for the ground loop makes a muddy mess.  The drillers from Allied were very respectful to the property, much more than I expected.  I expected that the drilling process would make "a mess and a half" but it only made a mess!  At the end of the job the ground was re-leveled and ready for seed, which has already popped and growing grass.  As one of the drillers said "the mess only takes grass seed to fix".
The HVAC technicians from Continental left the spaces where  they worked in "broom-clean" condition.  We had to do some "deep cleaning" afterwards, but this was completely reasonable.
We expressed our concerns about the job to the technicians before they started work because we do not know much about HVAC or geothermal.  They took the time to explain what they were going to do and how they were going to do it.  They kept us fully informed about their progress and included us in the decision making process when they had more than one way of running a pipe or duct.  They made us feel really comfortable and that we were getting a top-notch job.
While the cost for the system from Continental was a little bit higher than their competitors I think we got value for money.  In addition to the reference list we received during the sale process, we also know two families that used Continental in the recent past and they are very happy with the work that was performed.
We would use Continental again and would recommend them to others.
If you go with the option to integrate your hot water heater with the geothermal system (which is supposed to reduce the cost of the hot water that you use) I would reccommend that you bite the bullet and have a preheat tank installed at additional cost.  We didn't do that and in retrospect we should have based on some further reading that we did about how to get the most bang for the buck from geothermal.  It would be easy to install the preheat tank during a new construction project.  It would be harder to install the preheat tank during a replacement project (like ours was).

"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. "Work was great. Just bought a 1972 townhouse that needs some serious updating. Michael installed a ceiling fan and light in rooms with no prior wiring, switched a light out with a new fan, replaced a hall light and added electrical outlets to bathrooms that had no outlets, fixed a minor issue with the garbage disposal, installed 2 new smoke detectors and replaced a couple of outlets. Everything is completed on time and will be hiring again as I have a lot more outlets to replace."

When it was determined that the 20+ year old heater needed to be replaced, the replacement ordered, on-site, and installed by Wednesday morning. I am glad that we opted for the Choice Ultimate plan as other than the initial $65 service fee, all but one $50 ancillary expense was covered."

"That was not a happy experience.  They were very hard to reach.  They contacted me and ask me when they would come and take advantage of the deal.  I emailed them back, they didn’t respond.  I emailed them again and I emailed them again.  The third time I emailed them, I said, if I don’t hear from you within 24 hours, I’m going to cancel through Angie’s List.  Somebody called and left a message.  I called the next morning and the phone was disconnected.  I had somebody else on the phone, he said I was crazy to think the phone was disconnected because it wasn’t but it was.  Somebody called me and they arrange to come.  The finally did come.  They did what they were supposed to do on the chimney but we had an inspector come in because we are selling the house.  They missed something important that I have to fix.  They apparently didn’t do the job of doing the crown which I paid extra for.  I’m going to have to pay another chimney service to do that.  I am happy with them at all.  They said I need to replace a dent and they did ask $400 more and they supposedly fixed the crown of the chimney for another $125 but it turned out that they did not do such a good job on that.  The crown wasn’t good.  I expected them to find extra things to do but I expect them to do them right."

I called them in the morning and they came right out within a couple of hours and the technician explained what exactly was going on and had the new motor in stock and installed in no time. Very profession and courteous service and the tech. even took the time to walk me through what he needed to do. I will be getting on a service plan with this company in the Spring as they are the real deal and trustworthy."

"Hired for air duct cleaning but mold was discovered and pointed out to us.  With young children in the house, we wanted to attack this problem right away so we immediately negotiated a price.  The primary contact was a bit difficult to understand due to language differences and I'm not confident we got a good price, but we were very satisfied with the quality of the work.  They were very timely and the full service took an hour or so.  My recommendation is to check for signs for mold before you order any air duct cleaning services.
