"Upon first evaluation sales person did not go into attic to evaluate however did look into attic area.  I had several <br /> questions and he did answer most of them, Estimate for service came within 2 days as to the cost of service and was given 2 choices for amount of insulation to be installed. Later additional questions were answered to my satisfaction. Busy <br /> time of year for this type of service only waited about one month from original call for service to be done. Technicians were very professional and again answered all questions and made additional checks in attic to verify I had enough baffles and checked my concerns around fireplace and skylights. Technicians placed plastic on floors and furniture and cleaned up before <br /> leaving. Installation only took about 2 hours.  Technicians scheduled to be here around 10 or 11 am arrived at 11:30, would have appreciated a call to confirm arrival time. Overall very satisfied with service. <br />"

"We have been remodeling these past few months and this is one of the four times we have used Gibbons Insulation to work on our home. We have always found the prices fair and the work excellent.  Paul Gibbons worked with me, taking into consideration cost and effectiveness of each type of insulation for the job. Paul is the owner and we feel it is a big upside working directly with him. We understand they are busy but have met all our deadlines. We know there are going to be more projects and we'll be using Gibbons to insulate them. <br />"

"Our first caution is that your own estimate of the cost of a bathroom remodel is going to be low. We used prior projects to estimate it and the actual cost was almost twice our estimate. So whatever you are estimating, add more to the cost. We got estimates from three companies and they were all in the same general ballpark. So the tradeoff we faced was whether to spend more on the project to go with a bigger company in Booher or spend less to go with smaller company. From the start we liked the people at Booher better, we liked their drawings better and they just came across as very professional. The cost difference wasn't huge, so we went with Booher. We are very glad we did. I can't say enough about the high level of professionalism. They sent out an estimator who talked through what we wanted and created high-quality drawings that really helped us see what it would look like and understand our various options. Then we went into their showroom to pick some of the materials or they sent us to reliable companies for stuff they didn't carry. It was very seamless. The other showrooms knew we were coming and what we were looking for. The actual project took about a month. The project manager arrived at the outset with a binder that laid out what would happen each day of the project. That was really helpful, since they work with several subcontractors. It allowed us to keep track of who was coming and what they were doing each day. The subcontractors were all great. They were polite, hardworking and conscientious. And they all did excellent work. More than one recommended minor changes that solved problems, such as the most effective wiring plan for lights or how to cover a pipe that could not be moved, that we really appreciated in the end. The project proceeded on schedule with minimal interruption to our routines. The end product is SO great! Really, I can't overstate how much of a daily boost it is to go into our spectacular new bathroom each morning -- with its great lighting, nice flooring, big shower and comfortable tub -- after years of using a shabby, worn out bathroom. We are thankful literally every day for their good work. In nearly every way Booher exceeded our expectations. The only disappointment was that they charge extra if you use a credit card. It wasn't actually a big deal for us as we had money set aside. You pay in installments and just leave a check in the binder when they complete each milestone. We paid four times -- at the start, at the end and twice in between after big portions of the work were complete. But I was hoping to rack up some credit card reward points that I didn't get. I will say they were especially great about change orders. They estimated conservatively so there weren't big surprises. Inevitably, there will be changes you won't expect. They always patiently explained in detail what needed to change and why. In our case, a wiring challenge led to us asking them to just install new kitchen lighting in the room below the bathroom since they had to remove a light fixture anyway to gain access. That was a big change to the project but it went smoothly and driven by our ideas and needs. That big change aside, most of the change orders were just a hundred dollars or so here and there and did not add significantly to the total project cost. Our bottom line was that it was very worth it to us to pay a little more for the high degree of professionalism and work quality we got from Booher. We are planning to explore a kitchen remodel with them in the future."

"I called Shannon to get a quote to replace my crawlspace vents which had been sealed up by a previous homeowner. He came out and gave me an estimate the next day. He explained everything very well and also looked at my crawlspace and made recommendations on what I could do to keep it dry down there. He ordered my vents and kept me updated on the status and when they came in he let me know and we scheduled the install day. He said he would be here at 8am to put them in and he literally pulled into the driveway at 8am on the dot. Install went as smoothly, vents look and function great. House is currently under contract and I plan on recommending him to the new buyers for any waterproofing needs that they may have or want as part of the transaction. Would definitely hire again in the future."

"Everything went perfectly. It took only 2 days to schedule and about 2 hours to install. We replaced and old water softener that was on its last legs. The plumber, Joe, was well trained and did an excellent job. He walked me through the clock and other settings. He left the work area probably cleaner than it was before he arrived. We live in an older house and have used Howald for our plumbing and HVAC needs for many years and are very pleased with their service."

"Installers were professional and did what they were to do. After they finished, they tested the system and said it was good to go. As per normal, they were done and left. About an hour later the furnace would not fire up again so we called immediately to report the issue. And about 4 hours later a tech comes. He seemed that he found the issue from what the code was giving. Got it to fire up again. However, did not stick around long enough to let it run a whole cycle. No longer than having him be driving down the street, the furnace stopped working again dropping a different code. At this point I am not too upset because I understand there will be human error in a whole system install. We call again and are told that a tech can't come back until 2 days later. That is what was disappointing. Something to note, the install was on a Friday. My comment is: A company should not do installs if they cannot support the customer for the next 48 hours to make sure the system gets up and running on its own no matter how many times they need to come back and make it right. Perhaps Peterman Brothers need to have a no install on Friday rule so that there can be adequate customer service when there installers install a system wrong. Extremely disappointed and will not use Peterman Brothers again for sure. My house is cold which makes it even harder to deal with. I paid the full $10,000 up front to have this kind of service? They need to re-think their priority levels on who gets serviced first."

"All went very well. A very Professional & Knowledgeable crew that Efficient Systems sent out. Brian and Lawrence worked very hard during this installation (13hours). Brian is a perfectionist. He takes no short cuts although I am sure he could have. He is one of those few people in this world that is very self-conscious about his work. I would highly recommend Efficient Systems to Friends & Family. I would also like to mention John New the Operation Manager who came to my house at first and gave me the estimate for the installation of the new furnace/ac. He explained to me in detail the services to be performed and answered any questions that I had. John lived up to his word on all that he said. Even showed up on the day of installation to make sure everything was going well. I am very pleased with Efficient Systems."
