"1205My daughter and family moved into a home that my husband and I purchased for them to rent.  I received a mailer regarding a security system that looked like a good deal.  The installer was early (a good thing) and started telling us about why they needed a system...but at the beginning he kept trying to get us to upgrade over what was offered in the mailing.
We did upgrade to the wireless system, but at every turn, he tried to "scare" us into upgrading the system by telling my daughter and her husband how there have been multiple break ins in the area.  He also tried to push upgrades by saying that intruders could come in while the kids and my daughter were there by themselves and/or at night while they were sleeping...even after multiple times we told him that they couldn't afford what he wanted them to purchase.  It would have been four "easy" payments of $312 over and beyond the installation and the $45 monthly monitoring fee.
At one time, when my son-in-law told him that they may later get some of the necessary upgrades through someone he knew, the representative told asked us why we didn't call his "friend" to begin with!  The rep got rather belligerent and said he could just leave at this point! 
I understand that he would get a greater commission, but he was not very professional and even tried to get my daughter to upgrade the system by talking to her when I was in another room stating that "this is your house, not your Mother's". 
I went ahead and had him do the regular installation and monitoring as originally planned since it would have been more inconvenient to reschedule some one else since I lived so far away and I wanted them to be protected now, but if I had the foresight, I would not have gone with this company!

"I was somewhat satisfied. He showed up 20 minutes late which was really no big deal. The job took longer than what was stated for a total of 5 hours. He did not have enough HDMI cables for all three TV's but overall I am satisfied with his work.

In response to the company's response, They did a great job, was very professional, and I am satisfied with the quality of work he provided, I just wasn't expecting it to take that long.  As for the HDMI cable, that was a miss understand on the type of cables and length I needed for where he was going to install the T.V.s.  Again he did a great job and I would definitely use him again in the future.  I believe our problems could have been solved with better communication.  This was the first time I used this type of service, and I really didn't know what to expect.  Thank you for your feedback."
