I finally decided to hire Dustbusters Duct Cleaning this month to clean them out. The dryer vent was also cleaned and the central AC coil was inspected. Jeremy was the technician who performed the job. He was punctual, polite and courteous, and very knowledgeable. Jeremy explained the entire process to me and showed me before and after pictures of the air ducts. I have noticed that the air flow from my heating system seems stronger now which indicates to me that cleaning the air ducts has improved the efficiency of my heating system. The two workers showed up in a car with an industrial vacuum in the back.  They went into my attic and blew out all of the vents and did some mold remediation for $658.  It seemed a little pricey for about two hours worth of work from two individuals.  Overall, they were quick and did as they were supposed to, which I guess is all you could ask for.
