I already had the lock and deadbolt set, but it took a bit of chiselling on both the door and the frame to get it to fit properly, and he did a very neat job and was great about explaining the setup both to me and to my tenants, given the lock type was somewhat different than the busted one he removed. We have a 120-year-old Colonial house, which is in good shape, except that the front portico and a side entrance were both falling apart. Dean gave us several different ideas about how we could replace or repair them, and he encouraged us to think creatively about what we want. We decided to add a large farmer's porch to the front of our house and redesign the side entrance. Dean designed both beautifully, and the entire Durable Remodeling crew worked fast, efficiently, and carefully. Throughout the entire project, it was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. From the initial consult with a project manager to working directly with the owners of the company our front door project was as easy as renovations in your home can go. They were flexible about timing, communicative, and very easy to work with. We initially had our two front doors replaced and ended adding a portico to the front entrance as well. Marc, Raquel and their crew of many were able to accommodate our last minute request and finished the job with out pause. They accommodated to the fact that this was our only bathroom, keeping the toilet functional for all but a day. Jane has a great sense of design and made excellent choices of tiles and paint. The project finished a bit under budget and also was completed in less than the estimated time. When we found a minor leak from the shower door, Brandon arrived the next day to fix it. I give them my highest recommendation for any bathroom job.
